Perhaps O'Reilly believes that being congratulated for journalistic integrity is, itself, a 'far-left smear.'

Perhaps he resents the implication that he might have integrity.

Smear site? I'll defer to Bill on this one because if anyone is an expert on smear, Billy is.

See what happens when you actually use facts Bill?Even a site like MMFA can give kudos to the likes of you.
      Try it more often.

That's one way to treat an azzhole, and maybe win him over : praise him!

But it's only a treatment, not a cure : there is no known cure for being an azzhole... it's a terminal illness, the azzhole carries it right to the grave.

MMFA had that thread up for a very brief time the other day, then quickly took it down when they realized that Fox had more of the 10 examples of jounalistic integrity than any one else. And surprise, Maddow and olbermann were nowhere to be seen.

You mean this thread? (That's still up and linked above, BTW)

So they went to the trouble to compile it, edit it, link to it, then they left it up on their Youtube profile AND THEN called attention to it AGAIN by posting O'Reilly's response...

And it was what the led you to believe that they suddenly came to a realization that it had mostly Fox footage?

Forgive me, but I believe that the point MediaMatters was trying to make was that they found ten instances in which conservative news media (i.e. Fox news) at some point actually displayed some journalistic integrity. For Liberals, its like seeing photos of the last dodo, or snorkling with a coelacanth.

You just gotta make a big deal of it when you see it!

"And surprise, Maddow and Olbermann were nowhere to be seen."

This site exposes (or in this brief case, acknowledges when they do good) conservative right-wing media bias...

Olbermann and Maddow are not conservative fanatics that need to be exposed... besides... they have enough journalistic integrity between the two of them to out do all of Fox-Noise and at least half of CNN...

Nice try thou NotFairNorLiberal, but your still an amateur at this political posting stuff!

      Wait a sec...

MMfA praises Billy, if only for a momentary lapse of his fantasy world... he seemingly accepts it... and then proceeds in calling MMfA a far-left smear site yet again...

You'd think that BilO could have at least set aside the bluster, if only for a moment...

      Phhhft... who am I kidding...

Bill is a good prospect as an attorney, hands down. He is a good journalist as well. He is no good as a report or a news anchor though because of his monopoly of opinion on his show and his insulting and rude demeanor. Bill should behave more ethically and engaging with his guest. He is good, in print primarily and investigation comprehensively.

O'Reilly has toned down his rhetoric since Beck joined Fox news.

He realized that being a biggot like Beck draws alot of attention from educated viewers who have a platform like media matters to voice their disapprovel at such antics like race baiting.

O'Reilly should now stop sending camera crews and reporters into unanounced dangerous situations before someone gets hurt. It may be good for ratings but he is playing with fire.
