In what setting would someone say that? How about The Glenn Beck Program.

this man, who acts like a little kid, makes me puke. Is he a " David Duke " type ? Is this what FOX offers the cable tv community of listeners ? I am witnessing a historic moment in television where fellow americans are smaking down the very fabric that makes this country great for personal gain. I would call this anti-americanism and was begun by GW Bush keeping silent and not reigning in these buffoons during his governance. Freedom of speech is not free, it gas consequences albeit not immediate.

Are these FOX people such as Beck completely incapable of ever quoting a person correctly and in the proper context? At least when MMFA quotes Beck they get it right...and they actually provide the clip. Beck is beneath contempt.

Except for yesterday when they quoted him as saying "emphatic" when he said "empathetic." But they corrected that, something the GOP thinks shows "weakness."

      That's all he's got? Racist?
Come on Glenn, you can do better. If she's a racist then it only follows that she's just like Hitler because he was a racist and look what happened then.
I also hear from some of your buddies that she's not very smart (2nd at Yale--she should be ashamed) and apparently she's kind of snarky too (rhymes with witch).
Glenn, Glenn, Glen... didn't you get your talking points from Rush?

Beck fancies himself a modern-day Howard Beale for Troglodytes.

In reality, he's just one more lying, fear-mongering Right Wing douchebag.

Having now read the entire [relevant section of the] speech, I now can definitely say, without ANY doubt, that there is not a shred of racsism in the "wise latina" speech AT. ALL. It's completely absurd to say otherwise. Having pride in your heritage and holding those who share it to a high personal expectation ARE. NOT. RACIST. PERIOD.

This is just more nonsense intended to confuse the ignorant. Too badd there are so damned many of them!

See, they know that their target audience is (1.) Not likely to read the speech for themselves, and (B.) Not likely to comprehend what she said if they do.

Beck and the other Professional Liars know their listeners very well... and exploit their profound ignorance. It's how they get away with peddling such vast quantities of bullsh*t.

i would sue his a@$ off! I would be like I am also an attorney and this is when media is offensive and presses pass free speech. Prove that she is racist! Prove it! Beck wants to be the next Rush Limbaugh. His style of reporting is inflammatory, insinuating, and borderline libel. She is a lawyer. I wish these people would do me like that and it wasn't true. PROVE IT!!! BACK IT UP!!!
A lot of latino's practice separatism over here in the United States and I could see where there is a concern. We allow them to have there own gangs in prison and sections of the yard and so forth. SO when it is good then, is it good all the time? Latino's have a lot of heart too, so it is wise to not make latino people feel that media is practicing unfairly. "WATCH" what you create. You are creating indifference. Sotomayor is a sister, a wife, a great latina legend, and it goes beyond your rants and insults. May haunt you to destroy people's credibility with no basis or merit. Prove IT! To some degree and even in schools are we not taught to be proud of culture and celebrate culture and the "Great Melting Pot". What was School house Rock? A PBS media, Saturday Morning Broadcast. IS it a fact that the American Dream is not for all of us! IS this the actual argument? Watch your arrogance. This is not the GOP club house. THis is the media airwaves. Reps look bad g, Youre looking KKK straight up!

Beck meant to call himself the "racist" for his "Hey, Hispanic chick lady!" remark of yesterday. He's an idiot of the highest order.

Agreed, but by Beck's apparent standards on what's "racist", he is a bumbling bigoted boob.

Beck and his ilk keep criticizing 'empathy" as though it was synonymous with sympathy, which it's not. Sympathy is defined as sharing the feelings and of others, and therefore implies taking the side of those whose feelings you share. Empathy means understanding and considering the circumstances and feelings of others, but implies no agreement. That's why it's a relevant and important quality in a judge.

I am upset, because people like Glenn Beck receive uneducated and angry comments about their opinions and how their thoughts are not with good intention...but wait- people like Alex Jones and Glenn Beck have ONLY good intention. These people are trying to put the rest of us in the know, to help us PROTECT ourselves for what is evidently going to come to us. They know what they are talking about, they have done their research and are helping us by pointing out facts that we should be considered lucky to know about. Any one supporting the new presidency should not be angry at what Glenn and Alex are saying, but should be at the very least grateful for what they are doing ,,,,what they are doing for us.
Anyone opposing their commentary needs to do research before they get all in a huff.
