Granted, I've known people who were book smart, application stupid, and I've known people who were book dumb, application smart. But after watching these hacks dive head over heels supporting a president who was book stupid, application stupid for eight years it's just stupid watching them now try to redifine the word stupid.

I love how all the right wingers have bitten the Jeff Roasen article and refuse to let go. They say, "he is a very liberal law professor".

      A few points:
1.) If a Democratic president gets to name a Supreme Court Justice then one is to assume the Justice will be liberal to moderate.
2.) This means a short list will appear and maneuvering and positioning will commence immediatley.
3.) Does Rosen have a personal ax to grind against Sotomayor? Does he have anything to gain from her not being appointed. What about associates or friends of his?
4.) Do the anonymous quotes come from people who have an ax to grind against Sotmayor? Do those quoters have anything to gain from her not being appointed. What about associates or friends of these quoters?
5.) It seems to me that Rosen or someone close to him had a personal stake in seeing one of the other short listers named to the Court and wanted to try to sabotage her as the fron runner becasue after all, "Liberal New Republic's Jeff Rosen, a liberal law guy himself, said all of these things about her".

      Hey Jeff Rosen,
I hope you are embarrased for the rest of your life.

I bet if you asked this clod about Iraq, He'd say our troops will find the WMD's any day now. He misquotes Turley on the same network less than 24 hours after the professor's appearance. At least MMFA is able to hold some of this garbage-brained innuendo up for better scrutiny.

" I can't speak for the GOP " then what is he doing putting his face on national tv ?
" I graduated fron Harvard with honors and I am not qualified to be on the Supreme Court " Mr levey apparently has done nothing useful to the intellect of this nation since graduating.

Okay, this is more like it. More MSM interviewers and reporters should be doing what Novotny did---questioning the bobblehead talking points. I don't care if you're on the right or the left, when you go on TV you should expect to be challenged.
It's just too bad that this woman seems to be the exception and not the rule.

Great point she brought up about "temperament". The strongest women are most threatening to their opponents, and so they resort to mudslinging regarding character, not qualifications. Maybe this is why I'm not offended by the "B word"?
