Yet another sexual innuendo from the fat man.

He is seriously repressed. Involuntary abstinence can cause that.

It's the weight problem, he's put on a few more pounds lately which means he has to pay even more now for his hookup. Man, did you see him yesterday? He's looking rather huge!

SNOOPY, He may be huge, but judging by his latest comments, i'd say what brain he has is shrinking.

Good Ol' Lush, pulling in millions while his sucker dittoheads are mostly scratching to get by in an economy shattered by decades of Rush's Gospel.

It seems like any time I catch Rush's show, the callers are all self-described "small business owners" who sound as if they couldn't run their own bath water. They're always being destroyed by taxes too.And they seem to have nothing to do in the middle of the day but wait on hold to whine to Rush about all the lazy people they're supporting.

I was laid off last Friday, along with several co-workers.My company has been fighting a trend that's been going on for several years in our industry, and things finally hit a wall.I was told by one employee that another laid-off employee has a big "Thanks, Obama!" on her Facebook home page.

She actually believes, in spite of the things we've been seeing and addressing for years, that she lost her job because of what's happened since January of this year.

Sorry to hear about that too. I'm coming up on my sixth month anniversary and after hundreds of applications, phone calls, drive by's etc. I've only managed to score two phone screenings. I'm getting sick and tired of this bush recession...

Thanks, Carn & Snoop.I am taking my first full week off in 13 years, so that's the bright side. :) I'm going on a little road trip I've been putting off for a while.

I know you've been off for a while Snoop, and hopefully something good will come up for you as well.Amazing that you were able to anticipate Obama's policies and suffer the consequences even before he took office. Ha!

Snoop, regarding Rush's appearance: I know it's petty and childish, but I LOVE the new Countdown logo of Bouncing Rush.Never stops being hilarious. It captures his clownish essence so perfectly.

Sorry to hear about the lay off. I too was a victim of the recession. I, being lucky enough to be mobile, have found new employment. My new job? Working for the federal government, so let me just say to all of you tax paying citizens out there: THANK YOU!

Upside, new job. Downside, I had to move to DC. I am doing what I think is great work, supporting our soldiers as I work for the Army on clothing and individual equipment that our guys use on the battlefield every single day.

That sounds like a pretty cool job. I've applied for several gov't jobs with not so much as a callback. What was your secret?

My secret is that I'm entirely way too good looking, and am super smart.

Other than the above lies, I'm not sure. I just got lucky I guess. The being very mobile part was a good selling point as well. They were looking for quality engineers, and I had a lot of experience doing that. I do interview pretty well, so I can "sell" myself.

And it IS a cool job, which is why I took it. I'm able to make a pretty big difference for our fighting men and women, and I like that. I can make sure that they have the best kit that will protect and comfort them the best while they're fighting. Makes me feel good.

Mag, I was born and raised in the DC area, and I love it here. I hope it will grow on you. There really is so much to do that it is hard to know where to start.

SNOOPY and COL,I to am sorry to hear of your layoffs. I pray that your situations will turn for the better soon. I was laid off from my job a few years ago and out for 16 months. As far as i am concerned, LAYOFF is the dirtyest word in the english language

That's an excellent point about Rush's callers. I once called in to a local talk show, and was on hold for half an hour, and my ear was killing me by the time I got on (no speaker phone). Imagine how long those sycophants wait to talk to Rush... two or three hours? Who has that kind of time?

There is no way that the drooling nutjobs who call his show represent any kind of cross section of America.

Here's hoping that things turn around for you soon, Col. My wife was laid off in August, and she's just now starting to see interest in hiring rising in her field.

        Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Gee whiz, Col, that IS bad news. It may be only me, but I feel I have made some good friends posting at MM. I hope things get better for you, I really do. I am retired, and am so old I couldn't get a job if I had to. But I do remember former President Bush wanting to take even that from me. The henchmen left behind are still at it.
Crooks & Liars is now referring to Lush as "Limbaugh the Hut", complete with the image of that Star Wars character moving his lips to Lush's voice. Hilarious.

It's amazing that millions of working class people listen to this cheerleader for the wealthy elite. I guess that's the real genius of Limbaugh, feeding his corporate agenda to the very people that agenda hurts the most.

To me it is unjust that good people like SNOOPY, and COL.HARLAN SANDERS are out of work, trying to find a job while hatemongers like LIMBAUGH, HANNITY,LEVIN,AND SAVAGE are working and being well paid to spew out their venom and vitriol.
