An oppressed minority. If that's not playing the victim, then I don't know what is.

I wonder if Ann Coulter pointed out Rush Limbaugh as one of those people who claim to "play the victim"?

Is the GOP forced to sit at the backs of buses? Is the GOP forced into different housing accomodations? During the tea parties, were the GOP protesters hosed and were dogs let loose on them?

Just when you think he can't get any lower, he plows through the floor. Way to go, Rush!

Just because you keep saying it, doesn't make it right.
And screaming racism and civil rights while alluding to Rosa Parks, March on Washington, etc. and how "obedient" conservatives are right now? Really?
I'm an oppressed minority, but I don't act like one or think I am one. We need to change our place and demand equal rights, but we should just keep doing nothing. We don't complain about anything, but the GOP should speak out against all that it thinks is wrong with our government!

Well even as Rush was speaking I outlined this strategy in my comment on Michael Goldfarb. The 'simple majority' will prove it is a minority and gain all the advantages that go with that status.

"Conservatism is an oppressed minority, the Republican Party is an oppressed minority..."

Do not confuse the natural dying off of an unfit species with oppression. The dinosaurs weren't oppressed. Their time had simply come. Time to find a tar pit, Rush, and crawl in.

Limbaugh: "When you're an oppressed minority, what do you do? You willingly go to the back of the bus and you willingly shut up and you willingly don't make waves."

Rush, may you be reincarnated as a slave so you may find out just how willingly you accept your oppression.

I think you underestimate limpaugh. He's built a whole career on willful ignorance. And while I find it very hard to work up any sympathy for someone oppressed by his own stupidity, I'd hate to see him not get credit for the life he's carved out for himself exploiting it.

Can't you picture Rush & his pals sitting around their club lounge making bets on who can pull the most outlandish stunt on their suckers?

They may have been skeptical about the premise of the Tea Parties--

"I'll bet I can get thousands of people making 1% of my salary to go out and protest to shift the tax burden away from me and onto themselves. Any takers?"

This is the next logical step, seeing if they can get a bunch of average Americans to take some rubber bullets for their millionaire martyr trainers.

      "oppressed minority"

I get it! You kick out everyone who isn't radically on your side, which brings you down below the 20% mark of the general population. THEN you can claim to be an "oppressed minority"

Is this beginning to sound like the guy who murdered his parents, then threw himself on the mercy of the court because he was an orphan?

I think you're on to something.

They created the "liberal media" by participating in lewd acts and promoting ridiculous legislation which took over the news cycle. They whined about ineffective and incompetent government, then made it so. They complain about the dems playing the race card, while they rush Alan Keyes (who called Hillary a carpetbagger) to Illinois to run against Obama...

Do they really NEED to kick out the moderates to become a minority?

WOW!!! Just the oppressed to lash out and turn against each other. It seems as if Rush and the GOP are in FACT the stereotype of all they hate in "others".

Rush is a FAKE! He is acting out as if performing in a play because he knows there are dumb weak people out there that want to hear this Anti-American hypocrisy.

Rush, would overt or covert discrimination be the most difficult to irradicate??
