Rush has a point....this country is failing with BO at the wheel, and getting worse.

Oh, that's right; the Republitard history timeline skips from 2000-2009. Whatever happened between those two dates is irrelevant.

Those dates are irrelevant now. You guys are in charge and the only thing you've been able to accomplish is to spend us into oblivion. Good job.

Except that potentially the recession is being predicted to be over possibly by the end of this year.

I didn't note that you had a problem with the Bush spending oblivion before, you're not "one of those" conservatives are you? The ones who ignore the Bush spending, and dump it all on Obama?

Yes, I had a big problem with GW's spending as well. I hated his spending on the war, education, aids in africa, etc. Didn't sound like a Con to me.

Good to hear. Now, we tried it his way (W's way) for 8 years, shouldn't we be able to try it Obama's way, at least for a little while before we declare we're "failing"? Don't you think? Hmm? Maybe?

Why exactly, Dave, are 2001-2009 irrelevant? Many cons have tried to blame Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton for the economic crisis, with Carter out of power since 1981, and Clinton out of power since 2001. The also tried blaming Barney Frank for some bill in 2005 even though Frank had no power as well.

Do you pay for ALL of your healthcare costs, or do you, like myself, only pay for part of it, and the company that you work for pays for the rest?

I just want to make sure that you're not repeating the often used talking point about "paying for your own healthcare" when in fact, you only pay for a small part of it, again, like I do.

If your company does pay for the majority of it, then I say, tell them to stop paying, and you'll take care of it. That way, you won't be beholden to anyone, and can take care of yourself, without having to worry about your company "welfare".

You are already paying for your neighbor's health care if they don't have health insurance through costs that your health insurance pays when you visit the doctor or the hospital as well as taxes you pay to cover community-financed healthcare.

I don't know why you think that you'll pay more with a better-managed system - you'll almost certainly pass less.

Yeah... That it take more than a couple months (and as much money as it has taken) to mop up the mess that the GOP spent the last 8 to 14 years creating speaks far more to the size of the mess created rather than the competency of the cleaner.

This is completely off topic, but I'm gonna post it anyways. Look what crooks and liars wrote about MMFA today on our coverage of Sotomayor:

Maybe if we repeat the following sentence from Media Matters endlessly it may start to finally penetrate the fog that's issuing from under all those anchors' desks:

[*] In fact, when Sotomayor made that statement, she was specifically discussing the importance of judicial diversity in determining
      race and sex discrimination cases.

      .
      .
      .
Go read more at Media Matters. They've been doing stellar work on this. Unfortunately, no one else is.

      Good job, David and crew!

Okay, I am totally, friggin' confused. If Mr. Obama's policies were "succeeding", wouldn't things be getting better because of them? How can Mr. Limbaugh argue that the policies are succeeding, but they're not making anything better (and are maybe making things worse)?

Is there a definition of "succeeding" that he's using that's different from what I've been taught that this word means?

I am getting so sick and tired of this man and his voice. He claims to be "educated" (or I hope he would claim himself to be) yet he never graduated college. Like so many real citizens I am jobless, and should be the one criticizing/blasting Pres. Obama, but I refuse to because I believe in the majority of his proposals. Mr. Limbaugh the economy doesn't effect you. You became very wealthy off of your viral hate speech, but how can you look yourself in the mirror and think its so terrible in this country, when you constantly "succeed" in this country?
