From the May 29 edition of Special Report:

WENDELL: Many observers saw President Obama's election as a validation of a post-racial campaign, and they see identity politics in Sotomayor's nomination -- an appeal to Hispanic voters, many of whom turned against Republicans in the immigration debate. Is it just me, or does the fact that there is a video of illegal immigrants in the segment a little "out there" by fox standards?

Yeah, "post-racial" means you can never appoint anyone black or brown, no matter how well qualified, because then it would be "identity politics."

The day the announcement was made i said that Some ignorant right wing nut job will call Sotomayor an Illegal Alien. Since then they came out with some more outrageous claim. For a minute i thought that maybe the right is not that dumb... maybe they know that if you are from Puerto Rico you aren't an illegal alien.. I take it back .. they are that ignorant, they are that dumb
