Yep, GREAT idea Bill. You're an idiot. Might be worth it how exactly? By dragging the entire peninsula into war, that we can't afford to fight right now (unless we draft a bunch of people, and I don't see THAT happening), and that nobody else would be too "psyched" about.

      Great idea!

Are you ever not wrong Bill? Looking at your past record would indicate that indeed, you're wrong about, well, pretty much everything.

Isn't it amazing that the people with the least military experience are always so ready to pull the trigger.

Is there anyone that this cowardly, Chickenhawk, Nazi doesn't want to bomb?

He and Hume have no problem sending others to die in their jingoistic crusades. As long as it's no one in their families.

No doubt, no doubt at all.

Bear in mind, should we get into a conflict with North Korea, I have no doubt, we would prevail in an armed conflict with them, but... It would take a lot more people than we currently have, since they have a gigantic standing army in North Korea, and even though they are not well supplied, and or armed, there are a lot of them, and we made this mistake before (back during the Korean war) of underestimating them and their defenses.

Our aviators would not have an easy time either. NK has a lot of SAMs in country, and have had them upgraded. They also have a lot of planes.

It would be a tough road, and chances are good, as I said before, attack NK, and they then attack South Korea and Japan, for starters. If we lob some missiles in there, or make strategic bombing runs, they will attack South Korea. No doubt about it.

For some reason, whenever I try to watch this I hear John Bolton's heavy breathing in the background.

I believe Bill Kristol's lengthy experience with being wrong goes back to the late '60s where, in an altercation with Joe Namath in Miami, he guaranteed that the Colts would win Super Bowl III.

It's just striking how he never learns. Of course, he never has to: He's still firmly entrenched as a regular talking head on all the top news shows.

This all is a little less baffling if you think of the dynamic as being a little like that of Chile immediately after Pinochet stepped down, but had set up privileges and amnesty for himself, and had many of his thugs still well-placed in power.

We need to be persistent, with the goal of making sure justice catches up with Bush, Cheney, and they rest while they're still alive, as the Chileans (barely) accomplished with Pinochet.

As much as I would like to see it, there aren't going to be any investigations. Does anyone seriously think that people like Bush and Cheney would have left office without issuing blanket pardons if they thought for even one fleeting moment that there was any chance at all of accountability? I suspect that they waltzed out of office with no precautions because they had already been assured they were safe. I had hopes for a little while, but it's becoming increasingly clear that investigations were never even on the table. Only an idiot eats the goose that lays the golden eggs, and whatever anyone says about Democratic politicians, they're not idiots. I've always thought that the reason judges tend to go easy on white-collar crime is because they're dealing with people from their own economic class, and they don't want to set any precedents that might come back to bite them in the ass if they get caught. Same deal here.

I'm just wondering does he have any concept of death or loss. I think that Kim Jong-il is acting out for attention like a child.

      Hey Bill,

I'm with you on this one under one condition. That you and your "brother" Hume, are standing on the front line when the war really starts.

These right wing crackpots have two solutions for everything, lets bomb them to teach them a lesson, and lets cut taxes

yeah right, What an A hole! and anyway, who are you? You don't just go do a little air striking with people who don't f around and are showing tension and violence.

If it were me, yeah, come do a little air strike. You'd get aired out! Let the CIA and the President and the other military strategist comment on this. Are you a treasonsist or something? NOW>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> back to me!
