Matthews doesn't know if Sotomayor is "obnoxious" or has a "Judge Judy kind of a personality"

      So I guess Tweety's sexism will now extend to Judge Sotomayor after slandering Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for so many years. How dare women act tough, professional and magisterial in an all-male dominated field! I guess that's only a positive when you're a woman of a right wing persuasion. (e.g. Thatcher, Palin, Schlafly, etc.)

      I think I had about enough of these mofos.

          Craig, I'm sure you posted in good faith but Mathews statements reeked of classic sexist double standards. Simply put, he belittled her. Mathews never wonders whether male SCOTUS candidates are "obnoxious," an adjective often applied to young children. Mathews never wonders whether male SCOTUS candidates will have the personality of an only-on-TV-judge. He reserves those condescensions and insults for the females, Craig. It's probably caused by some kind of sexual hang-up.

          This is classic Mathews. No talking head, and I mean no one, trashed Al Gore more than Mathews did in 1999-2000. Whether you believe he's a lib or a right-winger, he heaps contempt on Democrats all day long. Sotomayor's just his latest victim.

      Actually, Democrats want to say- and have been saying- "here's a very well-qualified appointee for the SCOTUS. If you vote against her, be prepared to explain why."

      Obnoxious OR a Judge Judy Personality?

      When I was working shifts that left me at home during the day, and checking out what was on (soaps, talk shows, etc.) I actually watched a few episodes of Judgdy... she is nearly as obnoxious as the RWNM (Right Wing Noise Machine)

      When is Media Matters going to start posting videos like this every time Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, and every other MSNBC puts that Racist cretin Pat Buchanan on their network to spout his racist drivel.

      I understand you guys at MMfA definitely highlight most if not all of Pat Buchanan's heinous and sickening remarks, but I've yet to see you have a campaign trying to shame MSNBC into not having him on at all. This man is a blatant racist and a vial liar.

      For NBC to give a platform daily to this disgusting piece of tripe is simply wrong. When is MMfA going to take them to task for it? You would be up in arms if MSNBC started having David Duke as a regular daily guest on their political shows. What's the difference between the two of them in regard to rhetoric? Nothing, that's what.

      Come on, MMfA. Start shaming this pusshead Matthews and his employers to get that racist gasbag off their network.
