      Say It Ain'T So, Joe.

Is this like comparing a murder victim found in a Congressmans' office to an alleged suicide victim in a Congressmans' office?
Joe, you comment on everything else, how about this comparision?

Ain't so pretty this way..Or do you smirk this question away?

Hmmmn. Seems to me that a lot of what's lacking in our MSM is a sense of proportion.

At least Mika is shaking her head at Joe's absurdity. I think? ;-) The clip wasn't long enough.

Yes, it was actually good to see Mika voicing her own views this morning instead of just echoing Joe. All I want is a show where serious policy and political debates can occur, not an incessant rant filled with caricatures and predetermined conclusions.

Mika inadvertently helped Joe make an a$$ of himself this morning when she pointed out that the "captains of industry" are the ones who drove some of these businesses into the ditch. Of course Joe went ballistic and dumped a great big Straw Man on the table, claiming that Democrats wanted government to run everything.

Classic Joe... full of crap... and obnoxiously so.

With conditions so dire here, why don't these people take issues more seriously. Its obvious we are watching shtick. Joe can not really believe half the things he says. And if he does-and this applies to most of the MSM-we really have hit bottom in terms of mainstream intellectual debate. Anybody see the movie 'Idiocracy'? We are well on our way....

This is what I don't get. The so called "Captains of Industry" that these guys want to run everything f'ed everything up. We need new captains. And yet, they keep insisting that corporations are better run by private industry. Well, industries failed, big time, let's try something different, re-structure it, and then give it back to them, and let them try again.

This isn't something permanent. This is what they fail to understand I think.

Yesterday, Jonah Goldberg compares Obama to Hitler {even though he says he isn't} . . .

Today, Scarborough compares Obama to Kim Jong-Il . . .

      Countdown until Beck/O'Reilly/Hannity compares Obama to Stalin/Mussolini/Genghis Khan: 5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . .

Aw, heck . . . Obama has ALREADY been described -- not compared, described -- as the antichrist.

            Kim Jong-il, Kim Jong-schmil . . . once you've been tagged as the antichrist, comparisons to some third-rate dictator ain't nothin' . . .

The right-wingers are on a hero hunt. As soon as they find out what one of these figures garners the most admiration they will begin to groom a candidate in the same image. In an out of the way place like Alaska...

Who are these people / are they on drugs or something ? Comparing a elected US President to a crazy dictator half way around the world. I think Mika should go get another job and jeave this buffoon hanging out to dry. save Keith Olbermann the agony of deciding to nominate Joe for worst person of the world.

      For what its worth...

If Joe Scarborough were a mouth piece for Fox Noise... this particular skit would merit a mention on Olbermann's WPITW segment.

There is only one way to explain this one from Joe, he has completely disconnected himself from reality. I guess that what happens when you drink to much of that old fashion right wing crackpot kool aid.

Joe was involved in his presentation this morning. He all but said that he and his family are good friends with GM execs. So what! Does this mean that you report biasly when you are involved in the story. One must project stewardness not favortism. This decision that My President came to came under the advisement of some very informed individuals who looked to save GM as an American cultured asset and they in turn gave GM the benefit of the doubt for being one of the first auto industry's to employ American massively and then, in good faith. GM is a historic part of the revoluntionary and industrial culture of America. Yes, the president could have allowed GM to go into bankruptcy and not ever reemerge. But-my President is unselfish and where he saw the opportunity to save an American treasure, restore job hope and a new fuel economy, he chose to do it in a way that many would identify.

I loved it when Joe tried to get the GM rep so comment on the President's recent firing of the last GM exec and the guest (forgive me for not knowing the name) said something about how GM owes the American people better accountability and public trust in their financial planning strategies and that the President is demanding that they give that. In the event that GM does not give that type of performance he feels that the president would excercise that option and by obligation has to because this has now become a public and government investment.

Why was the CEO fired Joe? Because he is still thinking that the GOP can save his a#$! Is he still in the facade that this is a priveleged society ring when you go to the US government and ask for approximately 230 Billion dollars? I think that the President noticed a mental disorder or break with reality and thought that it would be in the best interest of GM and global financial inverstors to relieve him of his post. If FAUX goes to the government in the same manner, joe, you are the first to go.

GM is humbled and sincere and I expect great things from them in the future. They will re invent themselves and then they will serve as a global model for realistic expectations, wages, and union benefits-or would you prefer no union?

CONGRATS GM! CONGRATS MR. PRESIDENT IN SAVING ONE OF AMERICA'S TREASURES! WE APPRECIATE AND UNDERSTAND YOUR METHOD IN THIS MADNESS. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE TO LEND THE MONEY.

BUY AMERICAN! SHOP AMERICAN! PROVIDE AMERICAN QUALITY AND STANDARD!

      LET'S GO!!!
