Its just dumbfounding to me seeing the characters spear heading this movement. I'd go so far to say that its only because they've been called racist that they'd take the opportunity to dish it out where its unnecessary to coerce the public (even themselves) to believe they aren't the true perpetrators

Wait...Democrats in Congress went after Miguel Estrada and Alberto Gonzalez specifically because they are Hispanic? Uhhh...got anything to back that up, Drugster? Limbaugh has either totally lost it or his desperation has driven his dishonesty to new lows. How can any person in his right mind believe a word this train wreck of a man says?

That's the key component, right there.

Yes. I think the later is causing the former.

Not to say that Rush isn't showing signs of desperation; he is.

However, the Right has been doing this kind of thing for decades. They defended segregation, then apartheid, etc., until it was no longer possible, and then they accused the left of racism. You can see this in Northern Ireland during the Peace Process of the '90's. After profiting, since 1921, by a system that was the envy of South
Africa's Africaaner minority, Protestants and Unionists started accusing Catholics and Nationalists, who were starting to get civil rights, of "Apartheid."
