        Tailgunner Joe McCarthy might be one. Alcoholism would have, inevitably done for him, but it probably happened faster due to Joseph Welch's "owning him", as my sons would say. He was dead within a year or two of being called out.

        That said, I think it's ironic that he's doing this now. One of the most hate-filled and irresponsible diatribers in the media is implicitly recognizing that he and his ilk, the O'Reilly's, etc., are indeed, accessories-before-the-fact (not legally, of course) to Dr. Tiller's assassination.

        I wonder if he realizes that?

      Seriously, I'd go so far to say that he was trying to get himself killed. He speaks as if he doesn't fear man. He doesn't care for the repercussion of his words. Now he sounds like the punk bitch he truly is. See what happens when the pressure is on these pricks.

      He and other right wing talkers incite hatred and violence each and every day. Weiner (savage) has told people to get aids and die and demonizes virtually all not in the right wing camp.

            That reminded me of a joke from an old Johnny Carson "Tonight Show" monologue.

            At the time, Amway was trying to buy Avon. Johnny said that if the sale went through, Amway would then buy the Jehovah's Witness church and corner the market on bothering you at home. :-)

            He was one-of-a-kind. We could use his brand of humor today...

      Notice how he's trying to justify his comment about killing 100 million Muslims by first calling it a 'misquote', and then explaining why he said it.

      What an idiot to claim that MMFA is "trying to get me killed" by posting his own words, in his own voice. If he thinks his own rhetoric will get him killed, perhaps he should take pause before spewing it.

      I agree with all of the above. And this may be as obvious as the nose on a face, but:

      The "logic" in his rationalization for the call for "100 million" dead muslims is, ehem, flawed. Let's say the "radical muslim state" has a nuke and we figure out they want to aim it at us. So the appropriate response is for us to nuke the other state? What if they already have their nuke somewhere else? What if it is already placed here? Does nuking the 100 million muslims, who know nothing about the nuke pointed at us anyway, somehow save us? I'd rather a cool-headed leader figure out WHERE their nuke was and disable it. Then I'll feel safer. Simply nuking a lot of other people does NOT equate to safety for the USA.
