Limbaugh criticizes MSNBC for reporting on story

Wausau Daily Herald: Rush Limbaugh critic Kevin Stevenson ousted as Marathon County Republican Party spokesman

LIMBAUGH: I know the story going -- this is about this little schlub up in Wisconsin. Yes, I know all about it, I know all about it. Look, that's not even big enough for me to worry about. That guy's such a podunk, it's not even worthy of our time on the E -- I wish you wouldn't interrupt me with this stuff. If you're gonna interrupt me every time I'm on that stupid government-run channel, then I'm going to be doing nothing but reacting to the government-run channel. All they do is run videotape of me and people complaining about me. I'm talking about government-run MSNBC. Some little podunk Republican -- moderate liberal Republican who was thrown out of his leadership post in Wausau, Wisconsin, some county there, because he dared criticize me. And so this guy is now loved and adored by government-run media. Big whoop. This has been going on for three days. This is not even new news.

Slowly... Rush becomes more irrelevant as the days pass by.

Actually, I think it's the opposite. The more Rush becomes relevant to the Republican Party, the less relevant the Republican Party becomes to the average thinking, non-knuckle-dragging voter.

      "government-run MSNBC"

Last I heard, General Electric was a successful private enterprise that has not asked for, nor received, government assistance or intervention.

I think we could actually make a stronger case for government ties to FOX during the Bush Administration. Does anybody doubt that Karl Rove was feeding them talking points from the White House?

Drugbaugh and O'Racist are both afraid to say the host's names at MSNBC. Cowards.

Amazing, isn't it? O'Reilly's still afraid that a mere mention of Olbermann's name may cause people to get curious enough to change the channel. Meanwhile, Olbermann's got nothing to lose, so he goes right at Bill-O without any restraint.

Drawing inspiration from something Richard Harris said about O.J. Simpson after he (Harris) had starred in the first movie Simpson appeared in,

The Western Hemisphere isn't large enough to hold Limbaugh's ego.

Could we not call Rush an elitist if he thinks of a Rep. from Wis. as podunks and schlubs? If a liberal said this, we would hear about elitistism, wine and brie vs beer and chips. etc.

Admittedly, I'm not sure how strong the connection is between the man being fired versus what he was saying. Are there other issues we haven't heard about? Possibly not. :\

But this delusion that anyone who reports on the President's actions with some amount of integrity as some how being a government agency is a paranoid delusion. Have they missed all the air time devoted to issues about Obama ignoring some campaign promises?
