Stephanopoulos says "[w]e've heard some say that this was an apology tour"

Way to show off that journalistic integrity George by using a line that would net you an 'F' in journalism class in high-school!

      "Some say..."

Leave that kind of professionalism to the Fox-Noise crew... okay.

maybe he is afraid of being sued for slander by Hannity and O'Reilly.
or, maybe because his is a _commentary_ broadcast he does not feel the need to site his sources.
Just another program to click off with the remote

The worst thing in the world that could happen to the right-wingers when it comes to international politics, is the loss of the middle-east bogeyman. Obviously they will want to ridicule any attempt to actually create some sort of long-lasting peace and understanding between the US and the people in the Muslim countries.

True, marco; some might also say that Stephanopoulos is a spineless wiener trying out to be Sean Hannity's sidekick. Just sayin' what I heard, you know...

Some also say that Stephanopoulos is still bitter that Obama beat Hillary for the nomination, cutting him out of the ready access to the Oval Office he was counting on.

A crucial part of that effort is to discourage any learning about middle-east people and culture. In their view, all you need to know about the middle east is what the right-wing professional liars tell you.

George S. and David Gregory are as about as sorry as you can get. Often, during interviews, they both will be so intent in getting in a "gotcha!" question, that they seem to ignore the interviewee's response to the previous question.

Also, anyone who saw George and Charley Gibson together during the debates knows just how low George (and Charley) will sink.

If this is ABC's and NBC's idea of elite journalism, then I have to question their intelligence. Probably yet another reason for these networks' decline.

I don't much care for when a troll thinks it's cute to leave a negative 'thumbs' down on any post I make... but as of this moment, I see posts from jmh, fawltylogic, marco21, and pete592... I doubt seriously that any of them gave me the thumbs down...

I wonder which troll did it?

I said this in another thread... the least you can do is offer up an alternative to my post... instead of being a drive-by 'thumbs down' punk!

You know, George, some say that Humphrey Bogart and Ed Sullivan were brothers. But because those people are, you know, DEMONSTRABLY WRONG, I view it as kind of a waste of time to advance their views.

Well...George was on Hannity's radio show this past Friday, so why am I not surprised about this "some say" nonsense? All Hannity talked about on Friday with George was President Obama's "apology tour", so naturally George took that line of attack and introduced it on his tv show today. Sounds exactly like the last time George was on Hannity's radio show....right before the debate he co-moderated with Charles Gibson. Hannity told George to ask then-candidate Obama about Bill Ayers...and George dutifully complied.
