Limbaugh: "Would a white male judge have fractured his ankle in the same circumstances" as Sotomayor?

He really can't be serious. This has gone beyond ridiculous.
And there is some evidence that he never registered for the draft. ..http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2008/11/exclusive_did_n.html
Here's another: you are a moron.
"Barack H. Obama signed the SSS Form 1's "Today's date" as July 30, 1980, labeled "D". But the Postal Stamp reflects the PREVIOUS day's date of July 29, 1980, labeled "E". Yes, Obama could have mistakenly written the wrong date, but it is rare and much more unlikely for someone to put a future date than a past date. (Also note how Barry made such a "cute" peace sign with the "b" inside the "O" of his signature. Touching.)"
I am unaware of any studies documenting whether, when people put the wrong date on a form, it is more common to put the previous day or the next day as the correct date. Perhaps you could cite such a study.
So, he got the date wrong by one day. Yeah, that's "some evidence" all right.
She's Ann Coulter without the popularity.
How is that either "fair" or "liberal"?
Um, that could be because the draft ended in 1973 -- when Obama was twelve.
Wingnuts: never letting facts get in the way of a good, completely nonsensical, smear.
You know jack - Clinton received a high number in the 1969 draft lottery [311] and was not called to serve.
More than 3,400,000 US citizens served in Vietnam. Many had no choice. Most had no doctor willing to enable them to avoid service.
Limbaugh has spent the last thirty plus years wrapping himself in the flag he refused to serve under. He has denigrated many who did serve.
He, and anyone who defends such attacks on our troops, is a coward.
The right's response whenever a chickenhawk is revealed is to say that Clinton avoided service or that Obama didn't serve in the military. The distinction is that neither Clinton, nor Obama supported a war in which they themselves refused to fight.
Neither president allowed someone else to fight, and possibly die in their place. Anyone who supports a war should be willing to put their own ass on the line. To do otherwise is hypocritical.
I do not listen to Rush and never have but I can find no information that supports your claim that he supported the Vietnam War while seeking a deferment. Nor do I know the details of his deferment. I do know that he had a diagnosed medical condition, that primarily affects men in their late teens and early 20's.
I also know that Clinton went to great lenghts to avoid service but he clearly did not support the war. But Clinton did allow someone else to fight in his place, as did Cheney.
Your defense of Limbaugh's cowardly butt is an embarrassment to America. Stop supporting sexist and racist hope for failure.
It all comes down to getting a doctor that could work the refs (draft board).
Look, I don't mind you all that much, but I wish you'd be a little better at supporting your side.
You start out with a contrary statement like that about Obama and when it's knocked down you start in on deflecting---what about such and such? You do this over and over again. You are fooling no one.
You're always asking for proof at the same time that you're making statements that are completely unproven. When you do offer proof it always comes from fringe sites or it's clear you never even read the item you claim as proof.
I'd love to see you offer up some reasoned commentary instead of just parroting your side's talking points. You might not change a lot of minds, but your input would then be appreciated.

He stated that he wanted to be part of the establishment. To me that says that he was opposed to what the people were demonstrating against, which was the War in Vietnam.
There were two sides then, he didn't want anyone to think he was associated with those opposed to the war, so it's my "opinion" that he was a supporter of the war.
Not enough of a supporter to serve himself, but enough of a supporter to let the rest of us go.
And guess what, you also rebutted comments against Rush with the old well so did Clinton" dodge.
AMEN!!!!!
I've always been amazed at the gall of several Republicans who have the nerve to say AYTHING about serving one's country.
The list of Republicans who were of fully able to serve, yet didn't is staggering.
Limbo, Mitch McConnell, Jon Kyl, John Boehner, Roy Blunt, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Tom Delay, John Ashcroft, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, John Cornyn, Dick Cheney, Richard Shelby, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, Dana Rohrabacher, Saxby Chambliss, and the list goes on. And THIS is the same party that had NO problem sending young men and women off to die in a war of CHOICE!!!! They're also some of the same ones who questioned the patriotism of others!!!
We all know why he didn't serve and it's a story that's brought tears to my eyes whenever I hear it.
Tom has stated that there was no room for "patriotic folks" like himself because all of the openings were taken by minorities.
And the reason it brings tears to my eyes is that I can't stop laughing at the most pathetic attempt to explain away his cowardice.
acne in the form of a "Pimple" on Rushes kaboose kept him somehow
from serving his country... where in the "hell" does that have
anything to do with Rushes making light of her (Sotomayor's)
damn ankle?... Victor, you are allowing your mind to drift where
it shouldn't.
Rush makes a poor joke in order to mock Sotomayor, and you guys get trolled into talking about Bill Clinton and John Kerry during the era of Vietnam.
Lame. No pun intended.
Do you also, like FL, carry a Straussian attitude with pride?
You should have said Rush IS a poor excuse for a joke!
Pay attention, Paul. "Fairliberal" was on the losing end of Rush's backside. It was perhaps to cruelest beating anyone has ever taken on the internet.
Well, I dunno about a white male judge -- a white male president, on the other hand . . .
