Where? Can't hide under his desk - there's already a body there.

Oh, and Joe? Before you go all brave and indignant on us, you might want to give Jim Cramer and Tucker Carlson a call, see what they think about it.

Perfect - seems being short is the big threat. What is this guy's IQ? It's clear not matter how short, JS has really scared the failed ex-politico. And ditto - Joe truly IS a moron.

Is is my imagination, or did the guy Joe was talking to just then seem kind of uncomfortable with Joe going on and on about Jon Stewart?

In any case, I'm guessing Joe just doesn't like getting spanked by Stewart. That rebuttal to Joe and Mika's supposed "sarcasm and irony" was hilarious. If Stewart is angry, then it's making his comedic edge even better.

I think Scarborough remembers the publicity the Cramer/Stewart feud created and that he wants to drum up a feud of his own to promote Starbucks.

Apparently nobody else is bothered by the sponsorship issue which is Stewart's whole point. These people are pretending to have a news show or that their opinions somehow matter but all they are doing really is chasing sponsor dollars. And it's obvious they are starting to think of themselves as celebrities. When that happens the dependability of their reporting of news is at best constantly suspect. They could just as well read transcripts of the 'George Lopez Show' for three hours and pretend it's important.

Joe should really tread lightly when it comes to this type of nasty personal attack. It is not as if he doesn't have skeletons in his closet. We all know how easy it would be for Jon to make Joe's life very very uncomfortable on a nightly basis.

The show has become a long infomercial. Seriously, can they go 10 minutes without plugging Joe's book?

Is there some finishing school conservative media figures have to attend? If there is, it should probably have its funding cut, because it's apparently teaching them that "angry" is defined as "disagreeing with me personally".

Joe was a jock at a private school known for athletics (pensacola catholic high). You have hit on the problem with voting for jocks. They go through there lives in little bubbles where the word "no" is seldom heard and if you say "no" it must be a personal attack.

At first I thought Joe was simply trying to be funny with his first mention of Jon Stewart being 'angry'...

when he did it again and again... I thought that he actually meant that he believes a comedian who exposes frauds when he see's them on his show... that Jon Stewart has no good reason to be angry... that Joe does have reason's for being angry... that he then compared Jon's supposed anger to that of the King of Bloviated Anger Bill O'Reilly?

At the very last 'Jon is angry..." is when I realized... either Joe has the hots for BillO... or he is hoping to get a jig over at Fox-Noise?

      How's Lori doing Joe?

The problem these guys have with Jon Stewart is that Stewart has repeatedly demonstrated how a real journalist should question a politician.

I think it embarrasses them to be shown up by a mere comedian, so they lash out and try to belittle him.

If Joe wants to pick a fight with Stewart, he's bringing a rubber knife to a gun fight.

So true - Joe should review the Stewart-Tucker Carlson interview in which the Tuck was revealed to be the impotent idiot (and fake preppy) that he is. It was fabulous.
Joe is simple - a recent interview with Chris Matthews showed Joe to be a stammering idiot whose only position was 'conservatives need to focus on the economy'. Though Chris hammered him on his position on social issues he didn't have the guts of 'huckleberry' who at least owns up to not believing in evolution!
The only interesting thing is why Jon even stoops this low - probably because the only opponents on the right are these uneducated slobs.

I'm so happy to see people like Stewart skewering the Troglodytes that it hasn't gotten old yet for me. I guess I was frustrated from years of listening to Rush Limbaugh spout his lies unchallenged. Recently, more and more media figures are shining the bright light of rationality on the Right Wing cockroaches, and the cockroaches aren't so happy about it.

Oh, Joe, you act all chilled out and you're sad he's angry? Joe, he called you out on your (lack of) journalistic ethics and your response is to say "he's an angry man with a Napoleanic complex?"

Joe, your problem is he's right. You first shredded your credibility in the Terri Schiavo matter and now with the Starbucks pander your guilt is readily apparent.
Nice act, nobody's buying it, not even your familiars.

"Attacked us." More like told the truth about you. Joe wants to say whatever he wants and never get called on it. And when his idiocy or hypocrisy is pointed out, he's being attacked. What a "little man" victim. Do all cons know how to do is cry?

BTW, why didn't they show the clip? Oh yeah, it would have p'wned them.

I saw the show this morning and thought...big mistake. As a woman I don't want to offend men but, it's been my experience that when men make height jokes about others it's because they have no real comeback to what was thrown their way. It's the same way with some women, when we're mad at our boyfriend, we'll start making comments about his "Short Comings" You make fun of the size of their (member) whether it's really small or not. I'll admit it's quite juvenile but we know that it's a source of insecurity for most guys and so we take full advantange of their insecurities. I suspect that this is what Jethro was thinking when he made this crack about Stewart's height. I hope that Jon crushes him again but, if you'll recall after he ate Cramers's lunch and several days later Scarborough had Cramer on, and they then tried to trash Stewart and Jon never responded again. I think he knew that these clowns were just going to try to milk the fued for publicity and he shut them down. Same thing with Tucker Carlson. I have to wonder though if because Jethro's attack was personal, will Stewart let him get away with that?

Jethro......hehe...I like that. Joe is a stuffed shirt and a bully who wants to think he's cool. But I have a feeling that when he goes on his little lectures that people are reacting just like the guy in that clip....like "M'kay, dude, whatever".

Juliajayne, I was thinking the same thing!! Jethro....too funny!

By the way, I watched Hardball on Monday and Jethro's talking about a run for either the Florida Senate or President in 2012. I almost fell off my couch!

I hope Stewart just lets this thing go unanswered, Rox. Moron Joe thinks he can provoke Stewart by resorting to name calling.

If Stewart wants to really drive Moron Joe crazy, he won't say a word about him.

It’s funny that Scarborough says that Jon Stewart is an angry guy, he didn’t seem angry to me, just pointing out the hypocrisy of some of these people including Joe. It's sad that possibly the best news and show on TV is the Daily when it’s a 30 minute comedy. I think that Jon Stewart and his staff do a great job of getting the news of the day out there and poking fun at whoever deserves it republican or democrat.

Locally we get Bubba the Love Sponge and they have Tucker Carlson on the every couple weeks or so. The guys on the show bought up to Tucker how Jon Stewart took him to task back when he was hosting Crossfire. Tucker went into this long diatribe on how it's a little known fact that nobody in the business likes Jon Stewart. Several months later the guys joked with Tucker about Keith Olbermann naming him just the night before as Worst Person in the World. Tucker then went on to say that nobody at MSNBC can stand Olbermann and that includes the staff on his nightly show. Tucker then stated that Olbermann is a miserable human being and even went so far as to say that Keith has a terrible home life.

My point being that it appears that some of these TV talking heads can't take a joke without getting personal and they need to lighten up. If Joe would have just laughed it off the first time there would have been no reason for Stewart to mention it again.

KLJTech, you're so right. Actually if he had ignored it completely that would have been the end of it. One thing you'll notice about Stewart is that he doesn't beat a story to death. Part of me would like him to ignore this troll and another part of me hopes he rips him.

On a daily basis Scarborough is proven to be wrong, on his own show. He has no room to criticize anyone. He just wrote a book and he is thinking about challenging Obama in 2012, but he talks a lot without saying anything meaningful.
Yesterday he was on "Hardball" and Chris Mathew made him look like a fool. Scarborough couldn't, or wouldn't answer simply questions about the issues of the day. He is another psycho-talker when it comes to Obama.

Jon Stewart should be angry, with the way America is today; settling for lies and corruption that your kind of media brings to the table. You my friends are too comfortable "going with the flow" and settling for the status quo. Just because you have it good, does not mean everyone else does. We are tired of having to sort through the lies, the biased content, and all the corruption. Jon Stewarts anger should feed his comedic fire and push him all the more to put you incompetent fools on blast and on the spot as much as possible.
