Can any of them telling this lie show one shred of evidence that Obama's mother was ever in Africa?

Harley, it's my guess that they will have the most trouble with the word "truth."

I can't believe Reich-Wingers are still talking about this. FactCheck.org already looked into this in great detail after countless questions from Reich-Wingers that they banned the question from ever being asked again. HE HAS A VALID BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

You'd think these guys would know that already...
        um....He's the freakin' President!
...they don't think that's something that would've been checked by now...

Olbermann really needs to find a tether on reality. Even he admits that "what happened in that tragedy at the Holocaust Museum" has nothing to do with what Rush said. It must be hard maintaining that level opf stupidity every day, even for someone as filled with bitterness as Olbermann.

lol Not disagreeing, but just playing Captain Correction for fun. I could be wrong here, but shouldn't it have been "Hi Pot"? Olbermann would be the kettle; edrossinoelwein9669 the pot.

Am I correct about that? Just having a bit of fun.

Mr. Bouncey-Bounce was really full of himself on this one...

Did you catch those dramatic pauses! Wow, what a master! Now he trots out this pathetic attack on Obama. I guess the ditto heads are so stupid it works. El Fathead dominates the airwaves! Mr. Bouncey-Bounce.

Right wing violence threatens to take President Obama's focus away from his domestic policy, policy that Rush Limbaugh hopes and prays gets stalled indefinitely. If Limbaugh truly does hope that President Obama fails, then the violent rise of the "birthers" is indisputably something that is in Rush Limbaugh best interest.

Whatever you say. Unfortunately, your hero, Boss Hogg Limpdog is so far from reality that a tether won't reach... he'd need a rocket pack to get anywhere close.

YOU manage to maintain a pretty high level yourself. Did Rush the magic druggie mention this birth certificate idiocy or didnt he? Is it totally bogus? Of course it is. Does it take a lot of ideological blindness to miss the obvious point or are you really this dense?

Ed - are you really trying to say that Olbermann is divorced from reality when your man Rush is still pushing this silly, ridiculous story about the birth certificate? Maybe you are the one divorced from reality.

What did Letterman garner for his Palin family comments a couple of nights back? Knowing Oldermann, those comments never even reached the radar. WPITW is meaningless if those comments were not noticed.

It seems that Letterman apologized at some point before Olbermann went on the air that night... I'm fairly sure KO would have mentioned it in some way had DL not?

As for Rush... gotta love a guy that doesn't let any opportunity (real or imagined) get away from being used as a prop.

I have met only one hardcore ditto-head in my life (that I'm aware of)... and I must say... it was one of the few times in my life that I felt truly, unsafe.

So an apology clears the air? Great. Let me then apologize (in advance) for anything that I might post here that perhaps would offend someone. There, now I am blameless.
An apolgy after the fact is much like the judge instructing the jury to disregard certain testimony. It's out there.
I contend that Letterman got a pass from Oldermann for other reasons (mainly that Oldermann agrees with Letterman's feelings). I apologize again.

Olbermann did not include Letterman in his "WPITW" segment because he "agrees with Letterman's feelings"? What does that even mean?

He, like every other eductaed adult in the room, thought the jooke was funny. And it was.

Conservatives have no sense of humor. Lampooning how someone's lifestyle is completly inconguent with their political policies (while at the same time showing the inherent dangers of those very policies) is somehow off-limits, but mocking the appearance of a 13 year old girl is somehow golden.

They wouldn't know funny if it ran over then in a hovercraft full of clowns.

Yep, Letterman's lines were as funny as Blimpy's Chelsa/pup video of several years ago. Yep, as funny as "I hope his kidneys fail." Yep, as funny as anything regarding bodily functions. Yep, Letterman's a real clown (emphasis on clown). And, by the way, I'm sorry that you choose to be offended by this post or any subsequent post of mine (Letterman-like, I apologize).

There is nothing wrong with joke Letterman made. Period. If you think there is, then (1) you don't get it, and completely missied the very prescient point it was making (2) you let the RW and the Palin's do your thinking for you and (3) you're an idiot. You RW'ers always get your panties in bunch everytime someone makes a LEGITIMATE joke at your expense, then you try to pass off your hateful bile as if it was somehoe supposed to humor. You people wouldn't know humor if it dumped a bucket of electric eels into your pajamas.

If you don't like people making fun of you, stop saying such bat$#!t stupid things! (Which in THIS CASE would be something in support of abstinence-only sex education.)

So insulting public officials (and flight attendants) is funny? Hope when you grow up and are allowed to fly unaccompanied by an adult, you never need the help of a flight attendant in an emergency.
I may be a lot of things, but idiot is not included in the resume, but I guess it takes one to think he/she may know one.

Rush, shut up. As a matter of fact, why are you even on the air? If a Black person was to get on the air and spew the venom you spew each day, under the guise of "entertainment", white people would be outraged. Yet, YOU are rewarded for spewing hate. So you and your kind need to just shut up.
