Right-wing, teabagging morons who think that Iconic American Companies should be destroyed, and 10's of thousands of hardworking Americans from linemen to engineers to dealers to salemes to managers etc... should be out of a job, just becuase they [the RW'ers] HATE "socialism" so much; which in their warped minds means giving someone a loan, who asked for one, and then making sure that they do what is needed to pay it back. They'd rather destroy this countyr than "compromise" they're "values." They're useless wastes of space, and the more they prattle on with this Fox-News, Tea-Bag pseudoeconomic nonsense, the more certian I become of this opinon and the faster the rest of the country comes to agree with me.

            Is that clear enough?

Well said, I hope you sent each of them this in an e-mail.

no one below the obscene rich, crooked CEO's at the very top matter in their reasoning. That's why they hate unions, health insurance, retirement and all benefits for the workers. Fortunately those at the top can live off their millions made from the sweat of the little guy and those huge bonuses they paid themselves from the first bailout. What do they care about the workers that were barely making it from pay check to paycheck and now do not have one at all thanks to the mismanagement and greed of those CEO's.

I heard someone say recently that given the right's attitude about civilian deaths in Iraq, we shouldn't be too surprised they were willing to let American workingmen rot without a second thought to better indulge their hatred of the president.

When have they ever cared about the deaths of civilians in any war? John McCain American hero said himself he had just air-raided a heavily populated area before he went down and was captured. I have never heard any remorse on the part of those civilians. If people are not American or Republican they do not count as worthy. Honestly I think they believe they are the God's chosen people and he will forgive and justify anything they say or do.

Look, it's Moron Joe living up to his name.

And what is Harold Ford doing there? I find it frustrating that after all this time of right wing hate and lies any liberal/progressive gives these loons the time of day.

Ignorance is Bliss Joe. Who said to boycott GM again? I haven't seen anyone say that other than die hard Ford lovers who have said it since I was a kid! I did like your Garo Yepremium reference though.

        No, you're worng. Again.

I've heard RW bloggers, media types and callers on RW shows all say they would boycott GM, bcause they don't want to support "socialsim." Y'all won't look any smarter as group by denying the exsistance of the stupid ones in your group, TBone. You'll actually look even stupider.

The U.S. government has NO business being in the car business. It is fascism, pure and simple. I have driven GM cars most of my life (Pontiacs & Olds). But no more - it's a Ford for me - next car I buy. I'm not boycotting anyone, I'm just not going to buy government made cars. I heard an interesting quote on PBS the other morning. The guy said that there is a long history of governments being involved with the auto industry, from Hitler to the UK. "It's never worked well," he said.
Won't work well this time, either.

The Troglodytes are downright schizophrenic about this GM/Chrysler thing.

Weren't they insisting that we should just let these companies fail? Didn't I hear that coming out of their mouths a few weeks ago? Yet, just yesterday, Glenn Beck had a GM dealer on who was whining about being shut down by GM, and Glenn was wringing his hands and comparing it to...what else... FASCISM!

Now, maybe I don't understand how these things work, but if GM had been allowed to fail, wouldn't ALL the dealers be out of business?

#1. It's Chrysler, not GM that is closing dealerships - though that may happen yet in the GM bankruptcy. #2. Had the businesses been allowed to 'fail,' without governmental bailouts (or buy-ups) they probably would have been able to reorganize and the 'fallout' would probably have been much less. #3. The criteria for closing dealerships has not been adequately explained - I have seen pretty interesting evidence that many of those closed were Republicans or contributors to Hillary or John Edwards, or were competitors of strong Obama supporters. #4. The funds used in the 'bailouts' were TARP funds - appropriated for the banking industry, not the auto industry. The government has NO business owning any shares of a private industry. Such actions are contrary to the freedom that this country was founded on.

The 'boycott GM' business is playing out in an interesting way. Apparently it was Rush and that Hewitt guy whose comments in support of a boycott were made last week.

The Detroit News published a story about it, directly quoting Rush.

I don't know what kind of blowback he got, but it must have been significant because now Rush has posted a 'clarification' on his website. Uh huh.

In the meantime, Chris Matthews dug up a wingnut radio host from Las Vegas the other night, who went on his show and proudly claimed she supports a GM boycott. Apparently Heidi misread the memo.

Don't be fooled by his moments of common sense. Chris Matthews already pumped him for a prez. run the other day and Joe will ride both sides of the fence as hard as he can.At least as long as He's still promoting his book. Notice how he left out the names and Willie wouldn't take the bait to do Joe's dirty work for him.

Watching them discuss how blissful they are in their 'cone of ignorance' is at once gratifying and bizzzarre.

The people are not protesting GM, they are just demonstratind their disappointment and confusion. They will come to understand that there will be rise from this fall. I empathize with them and extend the greatest wishes for them and family. I hope things heal tremendously for them.

Don't want to support atheist socialism by purchasing a GM car. By purchasing gas I would support public beheadings and executions of women in mid eastern countries for exposing more than their eyelids. Didn't realize socialism was so evil, thank you right wing for pointing me in the reich direction.
