Beck and Malkin claim conservatives "bigger fan[s] of Israel than anyone on the left"

June 11, 2009 2:06 pm ET

From the June 11 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' Glenn Beck show:

Also, Beck continues to claim "I feel like we're living in 1932 again" where "everyone was in denial" about the Nazis, and later warns "[w]e are headed towards a McCarthy era." Malkin later calls Council on American-Islamic Relations and the "AADC," presumably the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, "jihadi friendly and jihadi helper groups."

They probably are. And just like conservative, the isralies remain willfully ignorant of how their actions contribute to THEIR COUNTRY'S ongoing problems as well.

At the start she condemns Obama for reaching out to Iran then she asks why is he not extending an olive branch to our enemies.

Boy that was some olive branch Bush handed Iraq.

They're fans of armageddon. Israel is merely a tool for them to achieve biblical predictions.

There are two conservative schools of thought on Israel and fandom thereof:
The Pat Robertson/John Hagee school- we need to make sure those horrible, Hollywood-controlling Jesus butchers are where they're supposed to be when our "Left Behind" sex fantasies come to fruition. At which point they'll, y'know, be massacred.
The Dick Cheney/PNAC school- even though our ideal situation involves making the entire Middle East the fifty-first state, we should make some friends in the region so we don't have to go through the tedious buildup to every liberation-at-gunpoint.
I suspect Beck and Stalkin tend more towards the following, since they're completely nuts and all.

Yes, let us not forget the reason that evangelicals are such ardent supporters of Israel. The most cynical of all reason. It is because when Jesus returns he has to smite them for their betrayal.

Conservatives worship Israel because they kill brown people on a regular basis.

But of course the conservatives are much bigger fans of Israel...

The Jews are needed so they can all be sacrificed so that some guy named Jesus can come back to Earth to fight some end of days type of war...

Yeah... I'm sure Beck and Malkin are big fans...

Since most Jews are "on the left" I find this claim a little hard to swallow.

Also a reminder to Beck: Nazi Germany? On the Right. McCarthy? On the right (Republican.)

... it is my impression that the religious right does not espouse an honest and realistic perspective on Middle East politics, not to mention their true feelings about Jews.
And the political right does not espouse full disclosure of their true perspective on Israel, not to mention their feeling about Jews.

      As secular Jew..

The reason most of us are on the left is because we realize the real reason the religious right wants to keep Israel afloat is because they want us to be sacrificed so Jesus can come back.
      KKK= right, Neo Nazi=Right, Every hate group=right.

Yea, like Coulter said the "Jews" just need to be "perfected" through conversion. What's that saying about "friends like these!?!"

Chalk up another subject that these right wing blow-hards know little about but wax on and on anyway... History.

I am still in stitches from Beck's confusion over Dominos "Carbon Free" Sugar. This fool doesn't know it refers to the carbon neutral manufacturing process and not the make up of the sugar itself. Corrected, he still refuses to retract his foolish assertion.

It takes a special level of ignorance to get to Beck's and Malkin's world.

Once again MediaMatters takes another clip out of context and decides to censor what it deems dangerous for it's audience to hear. If you honestly want to know why this was said listen to the ENTIRE segment instead of the bits and pieces from CensorshipMatters.

No no, Mag. He'll be back here any minute now with a whole sh!tload of evidence to back up his claim. Just watch. Aaaaaany minute now. Yep. Any minute.

          Seriously, any minute now.

After all, he doesn't want to get a reputation as a hit-and-run wingnut who makes claims he can't back up.

Let's be honest, here. The ONLY reason Troglodytes have such a fetish about Israel, as others have pointed out, is so they'll be on the "winning side" when Jeeeeezzzzzzuuuuuuussssss comes surfing down on his cloud and smites all the sinners.

And those Jews they "love" so much? Only 144,000 get to survive Armageddon. Sorry guys.

Nerog only a 144,000 get to RULE in heaven with Jesus. A number no man can name will be resurrected to live on a paradise earth, once it is restored to paradise conditions. All that do survive Armageddon will take part in restoring those conditions. I am sure I will not be included in either group......I am counting on a zillion thumbs down.

If Glenn Beck isn't an extremist, and a scary, nasty one at that, I'm a monkey's uncle. I am very worried about the fate of my government, but I think those two "yakkers" are a big part of the problem. Scary, scary, scary!
