Oh no, no, no. You can't say that or you'll be taking away his right to free speech. Never mind that he wants to take away the right to vote from thousands. Or that not having a radio show doesn't mean you don't have free speech. Or that someone writing a comment on a blog is not the same as actually taking away his radio show (which would still not deny him his freedom of speech.)

Did I just hear another right winger calling for constitutional rights to be denied fellow legal americans simply because he doesn't approve of their status in life? Gee, I would have never guessed that one was coming, either...

        Indeed, you did.

They love to wrap themselves in the Constitution, as long as it's doing what they want it to do. As soon as it does something like give poor people the right to vote, then it's no longer necessary.

Boortz has been an idiot for way too long.

Isn't Dawuss a fan of Boortz?

It certainly is amazing that the Right Wing refers to the Constitution so frequently, given that they don't have a fundamental understanding of it.

The liberal belief that freedom means freedom for all, even those you disagree with or disapprove of, is seen by conservatives as that heinous, "moral relativism." Freedom is for them and those like them, and everyone else can get forked.

I´ve never heard so much hate spewed from one person before, including Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage. He must lead a very sad existence surrounded by fear and hate. If he wasn´t such a douche-bag, I would feel sorry for him.

I am glad that he allows his thoughts to escape him. It is good for democratic leadership. The Reps should be considered dangerous right about now with all of these talk show bull heads they endorse to speak for them. They have shown there true colors and this man will express what the position is on the matter. Be advise not offended. This should tell us something! Is is justified why policies that have been under Rep control are being restructured? For all of us who don't share this sentiment is this what we consider good policy? Did our Republican leaders ever speak out about such content in "our", "us", "we the people" society??????????

The lack of involvement was the silent approval when in turn every rep we have is supposed to publically show disinterest toward these types of propaganda pools. THEY SAY NOTHING. THEY DO NOTHING.

Neal Boratz' point of view sounds like the argument supporting eugenics; Minus the death.

Surprise, surprise...Neal's opinion is extreme. However, I feel that voting should be treated like a driver's license...It should be a privilege and not a right.

In my opinion, people should have to take a test in order to obtain a "Voter Registration License". Like the DMV, you would have to occasionally take more exams in order to renew your license.

I realize hat my opinion really wouldn't work so I'm happy that this recent tsunami of change via President Obama will keep increasing voter turnout. As well as inspiring more people to do the homework and become much more informed and updated regarding the issues.

Boratz is just another entertainer who is jonesin' to create a controversial name for himself because he has dreams of making some sort of Limbaugh cash.

You should enlighten us with your elitist knowledge then.

Even comedians such as Jay Leno recently exposed how disgustingly ignorant the average voter is, when randomly confronted on the street.

Ignorant people like them and possibly you, shouldn't have their right to vote stripped completely but they need to be inspired to get off of their Twitter and Myspace sites and actually learn about these very important issues in which we are dealing with today.

Like I stated in my previous post. President Obama and the First Lady has inspired many to become much more motivated to learn about our political process and topics at hand. Especially the young and soon to be voters.

I see much hope in our future, in regard to intelligent voter turnout.

It is his opinion that those in power should decide who has the right to decide who holds the reigns of power. Well, that's easy then. Mr. President, please deny all Republicans the right to vote because they are logic-challenged idiots.

Snippets like this should be archived and then used by the Dems in 2010. They can run a lot of crazy talk commercials in Republican districts. The voice over can say. "Republicans-the party of the big tent."

mr. boortz seems to be pretty much of a one-trick pony (with apologies to real ponies everywhere); his schtick seems to consist of mainly deciding who shouldn't be allowed to vote. i thought that issue had been decided already, but apparently his audience is unaware of this.

this is what you get, for sitting in the back during social studies class!

Ah...Michael Savage said the same thing about people on Welfare and homeless people - for their rights to vote to be taken away simply because they don't like the way they are living? So this moron wants to embrace in fascism. I don't see how he is any different, he would vote for the person who would give him a tax cut, yet he wants the poor who are "leeching" off of him not to vote for someone who will give them a tax cut?

I've heard some of the AM types here in NY echoing Boortz' comments about those who've failed to convert their tv's, and I can't say I disagree with them. If you've had your head under a rock for the past year and had no idea that the country was switching to all digital, then you obviously have no idea what's going on period. But since Boortz, Rush et all have no control over any of this, you guys are making an issue out of nothing.....again. Boortz can't infringe on the Constitution, he simply doesn't have any power.

Oh, right. I'm sure that if a liberal said that there should be random searches of conservatives' houses that nobody on the right would highlight that because they would say that the liberal doesn't have the power to infringe on the Constitution. It's extremist commentary whether the person has power or not, and therefore it's worth noting.

I had never heard of Neal Boortz before I started visiting the MMFA site. I try to keep discourse civil but this clown is just worthless. Hatefulness and ignorance is his one-two punch. It is unbelievable that he (I assume) has a following. He probably would be very pleased and quite proud if he knew how upset this clip made me.
