That's all... That's all...
I think they're dishonest, and the people who believe what they say are the stupidest.
I suppose I owe Limbaugh some thanks. It was listening to him and realizing that he had to rely on lies, exaggerations and contradictory statements that made me question the right wing tendencies that I had drifted into accepting - if the most vocal proponent of a viewpoint has to rely on such methods to support his beliefs, there must be something wrong with the core of those beliefs. And from then on, I began doing my homework and came to the positions I hold now.
I just don't understand why more people can't seem to follow that same process. It took less than a week for me to see through Limbaugh. It's hard for me to grasp how some people never are able to.
Gradually, I came to realize that he was being taken seriously by his listeners. The more I listened to him with this in mind, the more I realized that he was NEVER actually correct. Even when he and I agree on an issue, he still finds a way to be wrong.
He uses one strawman after another. The libs want to do this, and the left cannot allow that. They are pathetic strawmen even, but clearly his audience does not care. But, the more I came to see that this is the Republican party, the more I wanted nothing to do with it.
Bill O’Reilly and Tammy Bruce Analyze Hollywood’s Hatred For President Bush

Let's see. Who do we got here? Counterclockwise:
Michael Medved, Sean Hannity, The Boy Wonder, Laura Ingram--don't recognize the other two.
Rummy (CBS), Powell (FOX), Cheney (NBC), Rice (CNN), Myers (ABC) all went on Sunday morning shows with no counterguests citing the NY Times aluminum tube story in which the Bush administration was cited as the main source.
What's one night of primetime on one network (if its as bad as the conservatives say it is) compared to every major news outlet including the "liberal" NYT for a full day?
You could look it up in practically any dictionary. I imagine "darky" was a staple in hate radio of the early-to-mid 20th century. So how cute for Tammy Bruce to play a riff on it at our president's expense.
Who dredged up the "Barky" slur? Is it original with Bruce? Have other radio jocks embraced it?
Perhaps I am late catching up on racist insults, recent and recycled.
