We're tired at looking at the rest of the world that mocks us because as a society we can't even take care of our people. We spend more money than any other nation on the planet on health care, it's just that the money is disproportionately given to the rich. How else could you explain spending 20% more than the #2 country Luxenborugh (I think) and 50% more than the #3 country Switzerland, and as a nation we are #37 in our overall health.
This country hasn't seen a nationaly mandate in a long time... maybe Civil Rights was the last, but an NHS like solution better be coming soon.
I'd point out that so are some 80% of congressional Democrats, but then he'd say they're not "real" christians.
Because apparently you can't be a real christian unless you support war, the death penalty, gun ownership, tax cuts for the rich, judgement of your fellow man while living a sinful life yourself, and keeping the poor and hungry poor and hungry while denying them access to health care. You know... just like Jesus did.
So [Savage] must then think that all those Dems are also part of the "epitome of everything american." Of course, as I pointed out, he wouldn't accept my describing them as Christian, for the reasons I pointed out. Obviously the "Just like Jesus would" bit was satire, as [Savage and his ilk]'s whole view on christianity is so ridiculously flawed to the point where Jesus would hardly recognize it.)
I find it odd that Howard Stern, who is crass and over the line by most mainstream measurements (which in my opinion makes him hilarious) had multiple run-ins with the FCC when he was on terrestrial radio. His "violations" were for "vulgarity", yet I never hear of even a FINE, let alone a lawsuit against these hate-spewing, racism-endorsing, violence-inciting jerks.
That's pretty good, even for a Troglodyte like Weenie.
That offends me with every core of my being.
I could argue that the white Christian heterosexual married male is what's wrong with America.
The white Christian heterosexual married male is afraid of anyone that is unlike himself. They were happiest during the times of the Mayflower, or maybe the 50's like in the show Mad Men.
We are not a nation of Christian heterosexual married men... and that's okay, because we never were. It's just that the circle of power was there and now that is changing and that is what they are afraid of.
It offends me deeply also.
However, so does The white Christian heterosexual married male is afraid of anyone that is unlike himself. It's the flip side of Weiner's coin, and just as untrue. As is true in all demographics, there are admirable, average and execrable WCHMM's.
Am I hearing that right? Is there any troll/wingnut who wants to defend that sentiment? It's hard to imagine how anything could be more offensive to one's sense of humanity.
But "married"?
We should take all those white Christian guys whose wives are deceased and string 'em up! They're the real problem.
no.. he's just insane...
No matter how much fact you interject they still won't change.
And if you are truly afraid of the far right microphone, than come out and say it. Say that we are under a Hitler propaganda machine and its taking over. Better be careful though. Might end up like the very people you despise.
"Ooooh, Obama missed it by that much."
</Maxwell Smart>
Weiner is a cretin.
The FBI found child porn on his computer. Surprised? Don't be.
He's Bill the Butcher!
And perhaps also why there is nothing after the last word in quotes printed above to indicate that there was more, since the second half had much to do with the first. The way it was printed here and the fact that every post here has been solely on the first half would indicate that this was not simply a grammatical error to leave off the period, since there was no ..." to indicate there was more to his sentence.
Someone honest please tell me just what the heck is going on here.
