Funny how his speech went from having to no effect at all to suddenly being so impactful that Obama can now influence Islamic Mullahs.

Oh, wait, I get it ... It is only effectual when it benefits the conservative noise machine's themes!!

What nonsense. The Cairo speech was the best of any president in my liftime. I have always felt, right from the start before he even annouced that he would run, that Obama had the best take on foreign policy, the best take on diplomacy and theat he would not obey the stadard rules for politicians regard what they CAN'T do and CAN'T say. (Because it might alienate a bunch of bedwetters who won't vote for them anyway!) The speech in Cairo justified my feelings and fullfilled all of my expectations. I sleep very well at night knowing that Barack Hussein Obama is MY presdient.

I believe Obama's speech directly affected the election in Iran and made the race very close at the end. The mullahs panicked and released a "landlide" victory of Achmadenijad.

So Davis is wrong again. The speech didn't embolden the mullahs, it scared the bejesus out of them by how favorably it was received by the populace.

You got it! And if Iran DOES errupt in chaos, somehow that will be Obama's fault. These guys never even try to reason. They only ever ask, "How can we make Obama (or the Dem's) look bad with this?" and then twist the info and construct their "logic" accordingly. It's absurd.

      Causing death or injury; deadly.
Causing much harm in a subtle way.

And Mr Davis, can you tell us in simple english ( none of that 15th century babble ) what way his Cairo speech did us harm in a subtle way ? Or perhaps your political views prevents you from debating the issue.

For 8 years the republicans have preached that diplomacy with enemies(like Iran) doesn't work. Republicans believe the only way to deal with Iran is militarily. If republicans had there way we would have U.S. forces in Iran killing alot of these young, well educated people that he is refering to. So I find it hypocritical and fake for republicans to criticize Obama for not showing more verbal support of these protesters. The republicans can't possibly care about these protesters as much as they pretend , since for the past 8 years, the republicans are the ones who have been cheerleading the very policies, that would of killed many of the them.

Perhaps this is how Mark would prefer for Obama to "look out for American interests" in the Arab world:
