Lindsay Graham was ready with all kinds of rightwing talking points about healthcare reform this morning. Too bad politicians on the left haven't always been so prepared.

Dodd did a pretty good job. I am sorry that Senator Kennedy's health precludes him from being the go-to guy for the Democratic response on these kinds of shows. He's better than Dodd is.

Here's one example, in case you don't listen to the video.

Sen Graham said that Americans don't want a bureaucrat standing between the patient's doctor and the medical treatment the doctor recommends.

But right now, insurance companies have claims reviewers that do exactly that! Why would Sen Graham say this unless he was trying to mislead the unknowing among the FoxNews listening audience?

It's the fear argument all over again. What Americans should fear is the same broken, costly, inefficient and medically inept healthcare system we already have continuing on for another generation! They shouldn't fear a program that the failed Republicans are against. They darn sure can't fear a healthcare revolution that the for-profit insurance companies fear!

Republicans like Graham don't seem to realize that behavior like he exhibits here turns people off, and continues to undermine their political strength.

And people who do the thumbs down without ever even posting anything don't seem to realize that it makes them look like losers. Not only doesn't it paint them as losers when they do post, but it makes all the posters from the right look like losers since we don't know which anonymous poster gave the thumbs down. So the scorn gets passed on to all.

I love it when those on the right shoot themselves in their own feet! Keep it up. Keep giving thumbs down to reasonable posts by those on the left just because they don't push the false talking points you support, guys and gals. Keep it up. Every single thing that lowers your credibility (your credibility should be low, based upon your behavior) is a good thing for our nation.

Lindsey Grahm is sure good at spittin out those gop/frank luntz talking points. Guess he'd rather spend tax payers dollars on wars in the middle east....with the left over 5 bucks used to buy 5 rugs. He is pathetic.

Notice how the host of the show invokes HEALTH INSURANCE, and there's a graphic on the screen that shows poll results on how Americans feel about PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE (72 percent for it!), and the host asks Sen. Graham about HEALTH INSURANCE...

But Sen. Graham completely ignores the concept of HEALTH INSURANCE, and refuses to even say the word, and instead immediately launches into a rant against "gubberment health care" and bureaucrats between you and your doctor (and I guess that's their talking point, about "bureaucrats")...

      What about HEALTH INSURANCE?

That's what the question and the poll cited are about, HEALTH INSURANCE.

I love it when people run from a discussion, and refuse to even say the word... that's when I know they know they're wrong, and they know they can't win, when they abandon the field and run away.

And I hope President Obama confronts the Senate on this matter, and shames them and names them, because look at how Americans are for PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE...

      72 percent!

Let's fire a few U.S. Senators on this issue!

You know, the American People have shown a tendency, even a joy, towards firing U.S. Senators of late... let's fire whatever U.S. Senators are in the way, trying to stop PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE!
