    Because CA is still light years away from anythign resembling destroyed. He should come to Michigan. These guys always talk about California, or America as being "destroyed by..." (whoever). But it's absrud hyperbole. Last time I checked, we were still the greatest military, economic and political power in the world, and California was still among the most sought after real estate in the country. Apparently these "illegals" destroy it by their mere presence alone. (You don't get much more racist than that.)

      Uh, eddie? Believe me,they can get a lot more racist than that. When the head of the minuteman group murders a 9 year old girl just because she's hispanic, that's when you can say they can't get much more racist.

        OK... YEAH... Racist ACTION is always worse than racist thought.
        
        But, and I'm thinking out loud a bit here but, I might be inclined to aruge that the subtle, quiet racsim is perhaps more insidious. People like the minutement do more to advance racial progress in this country in one single horrible act that Jackson and Shaprton have done in their whole lives. IT'S NOT THE WAY I WANT PROGRESS TO BE MADE! BUT - the day after something like that most people take a minute to reflect on things, and end up hating a little less, and empathizing a little more, and progress is (slowly but surely) made.
        
        You don't get that effect when you hear "the illegals are destorying CA." That is more inclined to make people sympathize with the white man. THAT'S is more likely to win people over, making them (again, slowly but surely) MORE racist.
        
        Again - I'm not saying I want people KILLED so that we can have racial progress, and the fact that people are still being killed is a sign of how far we still have to go, just don't under estimate the power of subtle, quiet racism. It's far more influenctial on a large-scale basis than the Klan-style racism ever could be.

    Actually funny thing is, I was listening to his program that day. He didn't feel like talking about politics, or anything - like he was in a gloomy mood; he was talking about food, life experiences etc. All of a sudden he goes on an random illegal immigrant rant and right after he says "Now I'm angry..." (which you don't hear on this clip). It's like when he thinks, he gets himself riled up.
    
    And I don't know why he is crying either. Not like he lives anywhere near an "illegal immigrant" neighborhood. He probably lives in rich parts of San Fran.

  What has destroyed California is allowing the average person to make complex budget policy. The State has not produced a budget on time for years because the 'people' require a super majority. It only takes one third of the legislature to block budget priorities. It's insane to allow the minority party to control the budget, but the average guy lacks the intelligence, background, and information to make such decisions. That's why we hire legislators.
  
  As George Carlin put it ... You know how stupid the average is? ... Well half of 'em are dumber than that.
  
  The problems in California have been caused by Savage and his Orange County compatriots.
