There's no reason to placate them. They lost, and their views are not valid. McCain can't come up with anything he wants Obama to do other than what he is already doing, and Graham would be just as vehemently criticizing Obama for meddling in another country's affairs if Obama were to do anything, as he is currently castigating Obama for staying out of another country's affairs.

Neither of them has a valid viewpoint, therefore let them stay irate. It shows how small-minded and petty McCain and Graham are, and that is not a bad thing.

Short of the promise of a bombing sortie over Tehran and a nicely decorated gift from Tiffanys, I doubt he can placate these two no matter what he says.

Besides, they'd just get all pi$$y jealous of each other after comparing gifts, anyway.

McGrampa, and for that matter ANY losing candidate, should shut up for 12 months following such a resounding defeat.

The Pubs are completely impotent on every issue. McCain sold his soul and embraced the very cabal that suffered a coke head who slandered him. Graham is a frightened weasel and at the end of the day, their tactics have lost - the reign of utter emotion-based filth is over.
Obama has made mistakes - this isn't one of them. When McCain's daughter whined on Real Time that she was too young to remember the Peacock throne - Paul Bagala (speaking like an adult) said 'I'm too young for the French Revolution - but I know about it'.
Finally the red-necks are floundering - there are educated adults in charge.
Graham you pasty faced coward, Iran DOESN'T CARE what Schroeder says - but they are already blaming the protests on the US... The no-necked monsters that speak for the Pubs (Limbaugh, O'Reilley (culpable in the Tiller murder), Hannity, Beck(for god's sake)need to get informed and stop simply blathering for their white-trash minions.

Let's stop being nice - these right wing lunatics are harmless sick people.
It's time to ignore them - we won and they are crazier than ever (omg won with a BLACK MAN).
So what - McCain has lost all integrity when he hugged the Bush monster who had attacked his family and Graham is simply a frightened weasel. Limbaugh is a bouncing blob for ever more, O'Reilly has gone mad and Hannity is just a moron. I love to watch them at this point their pain and confusion is so obvious - like watching out of control 6 year-olds tussle and name-call on the playground.

If Obama does anything that McCain or whomever on the right agrees with, it's not because Obama is placating them it's because that's what Obama thinks is the correct move.

A spiffy set of combat fatigues, the best supersoaker money can buy, a parachute, and a pipercub to fly them over Iran. Pharmaseuticals and video equipment on demand. Liebermann can be loaded with those to record and enable our brave two fisted fighting legislators in action!

I see Chuck beginning to become more authoritive because he is fed up. Good fight CHUCK! I'll back you up all the way. But remember to take the strength away from the lie the Rep's are materializing-the fact is: O'Bama will work with the Rep's to meet in the middle and exact a Brilliant strategy. They have not vocalized plans they suggested to the President that he has refused to listen to. They just creat violence and anger and conflict with no clear resolution or an offer to come to the table and help. WHAT STRATEGY HAVE THEY SUBMITTED THT THE WHITE HOUSE DECLINED TO LISTENED TO? They believe themselves so powerful that they would waist the taxpayers money and belief on smear campaigns.

Interview me one day if it ever gets blown out of porportion Chuck, I got you! Calling all media....Calling all media..... At what point has the President said he is unwilling to employ strategies from the Reps or include them in the process? When can they drop the hate campaign and join in the government process? Who excused them from coming up with some type of conflict resolution and business strategy? Who do they work for? The GOP or the people of The United States of America? Who are they polling? Almost resembles treason

      Almost resembles treason

In law, treason is the crime that covers some of the more serious acts of disloyalty to one's sovereign or nation.
