Oh you liked that blue striped tie with that red & white checked shirt better? I thought he stole the table cloth from the pizza parlor and pulled it over his head & added the tie.

I wonder if Fox will ever get sick of his endless requests for props?
The irony is that's what will probably get him fired.

Yes, you should have been more explicit.

Like saying this: "Liberals are a vast group made up of a diversity of people, including different races, religions, educations, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, etc., but the majority of liberals are white."

Then you could say: "Conservatives are a vast group made up of a diversity of people, including different races, religions, educations, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, etc., but the majority of conservatives are white."

                  This would be PERFECTLY accurate.

                    There, now it's correct.

Can I now assume that they don't have a problem with the purpose of this bill? To limit greenhouse gases? Do they now think that Climate Change is for real??

You know, I already did some research for myself, and I found out alot by reading from BOTH sides of the argument. You should try it sometime. I do know that you freakshows used to call it global warming, but now it's global climate change. This in itself is retarded because the climate changes constantly, it ALWAYS has. There's no reason to be alarmed by it now. I also know that if the earth happens to warm due to the NATURAL fluctuations of the climate, it will actually SAVE LIVES. That's right, moonbat. More people FREEZE to death each year than die of heat exhaustion. Also, a warmer planet is more conducive to healthy vegetation and rain forests, but you idiots don't want to hear about that, now do you??

Funny, you like to think of yourselves as being "progressive" thinkers, always looking to move forward, except when it comes to the environment, you want things to stay exactly as they are today. Wow!! If retards like you existed millions of years ago, perhaps we'd all still be living on Pangea. Don't you jackholes realize that the world is what it is today because it WARMED UP??? Do you fail to understand that we are alive today because the Earth WARMED UP???

"More people FREEZE to death each year than die of heat exhaustion."

That's supposed to prove something? If you don't have heat in your house, you could easily freeze to death in the winter. If you don't have air conditioning in the summer, you're more likely to live. A big part of that is how much energy you're exerting and whether you're in direct sunlight or not. Heat exhaustion is more likely to happen to people working outdoors, and they're more likely to receive treatment for it than someone freezing to death in the winter.

How about if the ice caps melt? Will that save lives?

"Also, a warmer planet is more conducive to healthy vegetation and rain forests, but you idiots don't want to hear about that, now do you??"

We've done just fine with our vegetation up until now.

"Funny, you like to think of yourselves as being "progressive" thinkers, always looking to move forward, except when it comes to the environment, you want things to stay exactly as they are today."

Because it sustains human life as it currently is, maybe? Would you consider it to be "progress" to destroy all the vegetation on the planet, since we have oxygen now?

"Do you fail to understand that we are alive today because the Earth WARMED UP???"

It doesn't logically follow that more warming is beneficial, though. The reference to "heat exhaustion", made by you, demonstrates that.

I guess you don't remember just a few summers ago, when several thousand people died in France due to the heat.

Also, a warmer planet is more conducive to healthy vegetation and rain forests, but you idiots don't want to hear about that, now do you??
Have you ever seen fields dried and scorched due to too much heat? That's what a warmer planet is "conducive to." Climate change also changes weather patterns, bringing more violent storms to some areas, and increased drought to others, which sort of makes your "rain forest" theory all wet (or all dry, take your pick). One more thing: What sustainable food crops grow in rain forests?

But, you don't want to hear about that, do you?

There is no records yet for the worldwide temperature this June.

Local weather is not global climate. But ignorant fools like this person either don't understand this, a bad thing for FD to admit, or they do understand it but their purpose is to distract us from the real topic, the racism and phony baloney in the comments that Media Matters highlights above. That also would be a bad thing for FD, if he knows he's being dishonest but is doing it for underhanded reasons.

Ok, so no explanation by any of you loons about what caused the grand canyon to appear (although, I assume that you believe it's there because obama commanded it. I could be wrong.) Let's try another:

When Mount St. Helen's erupted, it vaulted the equivalent of 50 YEARS of human greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere in ONE DAY!!!! Now, using your liberal bat-crap crazy logic, PLEASE, PLEASE.....tell me why we're still alive today!!!

Be careful how you answer, because we'll move on to Mt. Krakatoa next. You know, that big eruption that caused the earth to experience sun blockage for years. How do you suppose the atmosphere recovered from such an event??

Simple. Periodic volcanic eruptions are part of the natural processes that the Earth has endured for millenia. The equilibrium already had taken that into account. Plus, you forget that along with CO2, a ton of dust is ejected into the atmosphere which blocks sunlight, cancelling and often overcoming the warming effects of the CO2. In fact, studies have shown that the current warming effect from CO2 would be greater if it weren't for the vast amount of particulate pollution created by China's emerging industrialization. I'm also assuming your numbers are correct, which I highly doubt.

Everyone seems to get off the point of my original comment.

Conservatives aren't fighting against this bill on its merits because in order to do that, all they would have to say is:

"Global Warming/Climate Change isn't real, there is no threat, so no need for this legislation"

But they don't say that... and I know they believe that, but the problem is, that Talking Point doesn't scare anyone.

It's easier for them to tell lies that are scary.

I think it's very telling on how horrible the conservatives really are... the only way they get their message across by trying to scare everyone.
