That's supposed to prove something? If you don't have heat in your house, you could easily freeze to death in the winter. If you don't have air conditioning in the summer, you're more likely to live. A big part of that is how much energy you're exerting and whether you're in direct sunlight or not. Heat exhaustion is more likely to happen to people working outdoors, and they're more likely to receive treatment for it than someone freezing to death in the winter.

How about if the ice caps melt? Will that save lives?

Have you ever seen fields dried and scorched due to too much heat? That's what a warmer planet is "conducive to." Climate change also changes weather patterns, bringing more violent storms to some areas, and increased drought to others, which sort of makes your "rain forest" theory all wet (or all dry, take your pick). One more thing: What sustainable food crops grow in rain forests?

But, you don't want to hear about that, do you?
