Too funny Rush. And, the Dido Heads will just eat this non-plausible excuse up too as their way to explain out why Gov. Sanford did what he did. What a great cover for these Republicans, just blame it "ALL" on President Obama. Too funny indeed.

Beyond funny. The country is doing ok by me. It's the GOP that seems to be going to hell in a hand basket. At some point Rush is going to figure out that he's one of very few people in the this country who have given up on America.

Strange that the same guy pushing personal responsibility for so long has suddenly turned into the very thing he has railed against. You know, someone who cannot keep straight exactly who is responsible for one's disgusting behavior. Now what is left of Limbaugh's rants. He obviously does NOT believe in personal responsibility. He has given his guy a pass about honor and accountability. Sanford's life is not over. Thankfully, he took responsibility for his own behavior. He can now rebuild his credibility just like others have done. But Rush, no doubt, offered us some comic relief in trying to blame anyone other than Sanford for Sanford's leching behavior. Aha, Rush, I see you do not even subscribe to the age old Biblical rule of personal responsibility. Do you have any idea how totally stupid that silly defense of Sanford sounds to people who have a value system that demands personal responsibility. But no surprise. You have long demonstrated this selective value system, you know, one that covers up all Republican indiscretion by trying to make some one else accountable for ones own behavior choices. Sad, sad day for you Rush. Be careful, your values are slipping! Learn something from Sanford's own handling of this problem. Republicans are just as accountable for their behavior as anyone else!

He kinda gave up the high ground on personal responsibility with his oxycontin addiction and viagra smuggling, I reckon.

This guy is tooo much! An uneducated FOOL! Why has he not killed himself? He seems to be sooo sure that Obama is leading us into hell, if so, why doesn't he just stop his rantings...he did it throughout the campaign and he failed to stop Obama from getting the nomination and he failed to stop his election as president and he fails to understand the American Public! Yet, he is still there spewing his venom! What an Idiot!

And that's the most significant point. He rants and changes nothing. So he is just useless. You would think Mr. $144,000,000.00 has something to say of great importance/relevance to human consciousness....but he continues to fail.

That explains the oxycontin coctail MJ was taking on a daily basis. I heard Rush himself gave him the recipe...

Did Rush forget that Sanford's affair started, by his own admission, over a year ago? Or is that just an inconvenient fact that gets in the way of an excuse for another "family values" governor?
Rush is correct in his assessment of his audience. He knows that the fact that Sanford vanished to Argentina on a state sponsored trip (fraud?) and has been conducting the affair for over a year isn't known by his dittoheads. They only get their opinions from Rush and that's enough for them. Obama did it.

No, the affair didn't start 8 years ago. The friendship started 8 years ago. Sanford has said the affair started about a year ago.

"Sanford has said the affair started about a year ago."

So using Rush's "logic" President Bush drove Sanford to adultery?

This bum's logic is growing more convoluted and absurd by the day.
In any reasonable Universe Rush would be writing hard copy for The National Enquirer for 3 cents a word, but instead he enjoys a national platform from which to smear and lie to his fat clogged over worked hearts content. How on Earth did we ever arrive at such a place?
"God" truly does have a cosmic sense of humor.

Rush Limbaugh and The Theatre of the Ridiculous. Perhaps it was Rush Limbaugh's unending negativity that finally pushed the Governor over the edge! He is afterall the embodiment of the Cheerleader from Hell. But if we ponder this long enough I am sure that we can find some way to blame it on Bill Clinton. Way to go Rush! Oh no you are still here!
