Exactly what does that intellectual-empowering czar look like? Where do we line up?

"what the hell is the "the intellectual, gay and lesbian, and union power class?"

Well, I won't name names because, as you know, Savage Weiner is watching us like hawks. The "power class" refers, of course, to the MMFA Stalinists funded by George Soros and poised to take over the world. That should be clear from the use of the word Czar. I mean what else could it mean? We just happen to be very close to unnamed persons high in the Executive Branch. I have to confess though--I've been sweating bullets all weekend waiting for the other unnamed persons , the ones Savage is working with, to get their hands on MMFA form 990 non-profit tax returns. Then the fireworks will begin. I mean it must really offend guys like Savage or Ben Stein that David Brock makes as much as CEO of MMFA in a year as they do in a month or less. Furthermore Brock has to work for his money. Do you think that if Savage posts the MMFA tax returns on his website that he will also disclose his salary and benefits package? But I digress. I must confess that I am proud to be a member of the intellectual, gay, lesbian, and union power class of MMFA neo-Stalinists. If we can have NeoConservatives and NeoLiberals whay can't we have NeoStalinists? As Maxim Gorky observed: When everything is easy one quickly gets stupid. And that is the problem; things are far too easy for narcissists like Stein and Savage. As for Cavuto he is no more worth a comment than the various rightwing drooling trollpuppies who frequent these threads are worth a response.

Seems to me that if the "intellectual, gay and lesbian, and union classes" have enough power to be a "power class", why would they NEED a "czar"?

That is how the power will be usurped. Barry has appointed 22 Czars now that are answerable only to the Pres. They will not fall under the checks and balances and oversight of two branches of govt.

This should be of some worry to you.

I have to say I never likes Stein. Even before I knew he was a right wing tool, I didn't find him particularly funny. His pimping of the ID movement has been particularly dishonest.

Mr. Stein, are you using the word "intellectual" correctly?

Are you implying that the other classes are not "intellectual"? Or not "intellectual" enough? Are you considering three minor class layers, or are you just throwing everything into an "Other" class? Hell, are you indicating that YOU, a fine "intellectual", do not belong in this class?

Well he used "class" in the singular, so that means they're all in the same boat.

The reason FOX and their employees use the wiord CZAR is because this network is in a full scale mode to convincing their listeners the currently elected government is socialisn ( and they cannot be convinced otherwise by real facts ).

"The idea of a czar that appointing a czar is going to solve the problem is comically simple minded. And the idea that you have an incredibly difficult problem and you appoint some biped human being to solve the problem. That the problem gets solved is a joke. The fact that you appoint someone to solve the problem doesn't get the problem solved. The problem is solved by 140 million Americans going to work each day and making the right decisions and is not solved by czars and the fact that Obama thinks it is is pathetic." - Ben Stein

Incredible. Ben Stein has found the solution to all of society's problems. GOVERNMENT DOING NOTHING. Why does Ben Stein and these other clowns even want a President or a government at all if supposedly neither can solve any difficult problems? What pessimism.

Funny though how optimistic and happy cons were when they were in power and heading America toward this brick wall of a crisis we are in now.

Sudden concern over "Czars" is the RWnuts' new meme. They act as if Presidents haven't been appointing them since the Reagan years. Anyone else remember Drug Czar Bill Bennet?

Better yet, I wonder does Stein know that the first time "czar" was used in this manner was in 1973, with William Simon's appointment as head of the Federal Energy Commission?

He oughta -- the president who appointed him was the one Ben used to write speeches for [Nixon] . . .

You point out those facts (Reagan & Nixon, not to mention every other modern president, had plenty of czars) as if you think Stein, Cavuto and their fans would be swayed by facts. No, they are demagogues plain and simple, and facts never slow down demagogues one iota.

Actually Nixon, but the difference is every other president used the term and appointments sparingly and for very specific topics/issues that were popping up and were appointed to coordinate the work of various governmental agencies tasked with the goal of solving a high-profile problem. Barry has appointed more czars than all the other POTUS combined and has given them unlimited power, not just for fact finding missions and counsel as in the past.

According to Constitutional experts and Republican and Democrat lawmakers, Obama is using the appointment of czars to circumvent the Constitution and the oversight of the Senate. For example, senior Democrat Senator Robert Byrd has said he believes Obama’s overuse of non-confirmed new bureaucrats is a “…slick way of governing without having to answer to Congress.”

I know exactly what Ben means because if you look at the power structure these are the ones who have it! Now, did this just begin in the O'Bama Administration? NO! This is the way it has always been. We are getting into the meat and potatoes of things now-no bread crumbs. Ask Ben how long has this structure been apart of the American way of life.
