...drawing a quick rebuke from Cuba, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez, and our President. Wow. Good company we're keeping ourselves with...

      Hey Beck.
You left out: Spain, Britain, Germany and France.

      What a tool.

        "...Hey Beck.
You left out: Spain, Britain, Germany and France." This is a perfect example of how this authoritarian mindset works. Facts that don't fit their ideology are just discarded, which is why they always get it wrong!

"no one in the media ever says anything bad about Obama"
wow Beck finally admitted that Fox isnt really part of the Media...so if they cant be media what are they? I'm guessing then that they would be the conservative version of Comedy Central

      Glen Beck says:
Compare that to Iran. You know? When the people took to the streets in Iran, and you know, beatin' people with clubs and President Obama was like, "ehhhh." A couple of weeks later saying, "we shouldn't meddle in Iran's Election."
First of all, Mr. Beck, it was not "a couple of weeks later." The election was held on June 12 and questions about its legitimacy were hitting the air waves by June 13th. On this day, the White House issued a statement saying,

"Like the rest of the world, we were impressed by the vigorous debate and enthusiasm that this election generated, particularly among young Iranians. We continue to monitor the entire situation closely, including reports of irregularities."
By June 15th the President himself said,

"It would be wrong for me to be silent on what we've seen on the television the last few days and what I would say to those people who put so much hope and energy and optimism into the political process, I would say to them that the world is watching and inspired by their participation, regardless of what the ultimate outcome of the election was and they should know that the world is watching."
Since these statements were clearly made one day and three days after the election, and since one day and three days are thirteen and eleven days short of "a couple of weeks" those of us who post here at the MMfA website will be anxiously awaiting your retraction.

so obama should support the coup because castro opposes it? i didn't realize that everything we do must be the opposite of what cuba and chavez do. sometimes, the right thing is the right thing.

Further erosion of Beck's already near non-existent credibility. I freaking LOVE listening to these blow hards! Beck, Rush, Hannity...they're leading the death march of the Republican party and the conservative movement.

Keep talking, Glenn. Please! Keep talking!

Well, when you put it that way...You go Glenn! I guess you have to look at the bright side of things. And I do admit to sitting there wondering what kind of a nut listens to this stuff because they have to be really laughable. But, are you really sure anyone is that dumb?

What exactly does Beck bring to the table as a commentator? I mean, of course, besides his obvious insanity and stupidity?

C'mon, Solon. Give the man some credit. He also brings unfunny pseudo comedy, smugness, inanity and dishonesty.

Termites. Pretty soon there is no longer a table to bring anything to.
