        Of course.

Admitting a mistake (and taking responsibility) is a sign of strength, maturity, professioanlism, integrity and intellectual honesty.

What conservative could be described thus?

That's not a fair comparison. In order to admit a mistake, one must first make a mistake.

Conservatives hardly EVER get that opportunity. Just ask them.

She: I like a man who can admit when he's wrong.
            Me: I'm wrong a LOT.

            LOL.

After a couple decades of marriage, I've finally managed to figure out whether "I was wrong" or "I was just kidding", depending on the look on her face.

Or maybe, after a couple decades of marriage, she just always interprets "I was just kidding" as "I was wrong". Hmmm...

Either way, it's resulted in shear wedded bliss.

If a man speaks in the forest, and his wife's not there to hear him, is he still wrong?

      (Warning: sarcastic comment ahead!)

Don't be silly! Apologies from conservatives? Nonsense! In the first place, conservatives don't make mistakes, so there is nothing to apologize for. It only -seems- they are in error until reality conforms to their point of view!

This is funny. The thread about the original comment has almost 200 comments.
