Literally everything Rush says here can be applied 100% to Republicans. A "cult-like bunch"? I dunno Rushy, sounds alot like your dittoheads to me.

But really, this insane fearmongering is just sad. Really sad. Fear is all the cons have left. Well, fear and a whole lot of money.

Sounds like the leader of the Republican party is already conceding the 2012 election.

True, but I remember asking if he would find some way to stay in office. He had so little respect for the Constitution in the first place, however, he became very unpopular and after the economy imploded, it probably felt real good to pass the office over to someone else.

True, I was asking myself that question too. But you know, Bush mangled the constitution enough that it wasn't much of a stretch to see it happening. If anyone would care to point out anything that Obama has done that would allow him to remain in office past a 2-term limit, let me know, because I missed it.

As posted yesterday...All the RadioWing Nutz are singing the same song. Savage said almost exactly the same thing yesterday. Dickie Morris is talking about Black Helicopters...I didn't hear Quinney the Sexual Harasser but I would bet he said the same thing.

These crybabies are still stewing over having assisted in helping the Democrats rise to power. Thier hatred and lies moved people to the D column. Now, this same Barnum-types are spouting OVERTHROW.
As an aside, thier friends Castro and Chavez will agree with them.

I truly believe that thier wish is that someone does the dirty work for them an attempts something on the lives of our elected Leaders. If that happens, they should be fair game.

I think it was Bush 43 who actually entertained the idea of athird term. I didn't trust Cheney et all to stop manipulating the meaning of term limits right until january 20, about 11.59 AM. They spent 8 years redefining the Constitution. Unfortunately Rush is nuts but lots of people not only hear him but also listen to him. We just have to deal with it by constantly pushing back the misinformation machine.

This is unbelievable, I am thoroughly flabbergasted and amazed at the bold faced incoherent logic of this individual. how does he feign to promote democracy and in the same vein support a military coup just because Obama condemned it? This is beyond the pale. In a democracy, a military coup is unacceptable. For the Honduran president to change the constitution, he would need the support of the legislature and the judiciary and it does seem that they were not buying it. And for this idiot to assume that Obama would intend to remain in power beyond 2016, in some ways is a good thing because he has inadvertently endorsed Obama for a second term, however it is constitutionally impossible in the United States. Also Rush you are ignorant of the workings of the African community to accuse Obama of being an African colonel. The article you keep referring to from american thinker is full of falacies and is the opinion presented by a first generation american of african descent who has not lived in africa (nigeria) to be exact and is therefore incapable of critiquing a society she doesn't understand. As a nigerian citizen living here legally in the US, both of you need to get your facts straight before you attempt to so blatanly link Obama to something not even remotely connected to him. To all your faithful fans, I pity them cos of the level they have descended to leaving intellect in the gutter and listening to your daily incoherent rants unable to reach well informed conclusions on their own. just my two cents...

Rush, is 2016 going to be when Barack Obama reveals himself as the antichrist? Darn, does this mean Sarah Palin won't be President? ;>)

P.S. Rush, you are becoming nuttier by the day... Happily for you there are still a lot of really, really dumb people in the world...mostly tuned in to you.

OK... when Hillary Clinton wins in 2016, will he eat those words? Will he even remember them? Doubt it. More liekly he be saying the same nonsense about here - who'd be 77 after 8 years in office.

This guy either (1) has no credability (and Fair, AA, PoV? It's time for you lot to admit that!) or (2) He's trying to get him killed. That may seem extreme, but please offer another explanation if you can't accept (1) or (2) or both.

Eddie, every Rush Limbaugh show is an independent entity...when the show ends it's as though it never occurred. The next day Limbaugh can say something entirely contradictory and none of his listeners apparently notice...or care.

...when the show ends it's as though it never occurred.

Irony, that is very true, and one of the most amazing features of the show to me. I probably catch parts of his show two or three times a week while driving, and aside from mindless cult-like chanting and repetition, the contradictions are the highlights of the show.

It's mind-boggling to listen as one who hasn't ordered the GOP Kool-Aid, to hear the reversal of logic and principles in order to suit that day's issue.

And the humans don't know, but the dittobots understand.

Eddie, it is not extreme a lot of people think Hannity, Beck, RUSH and few more are really working very hard at setting the stage for that very thing.

It is beyond my comprehension, how they can listen to President Obama and not feel that every thing about this man, wants what is the very best for everyone, even blustering talk show hosts.

"But I think Obama is easily typecast."

Says the fat, bald, divorced, white conservative.

"You have to wonder if Obama is just trying to lay a foundation for not being a hypocrite when he tries to serve beyond 2016....I wouldn't be at all surprised."

Rush has to dig into the hypothetical, worst-case future in order to come up with material.

"They are a democratically elected set of officials down there..."

Any student of central American history knows that 'democratically elected' can mean any number of things in that part of the world. Heck, what did 'democratically elected' mean in Florida in 2000?

".. they are a cult like bunch.... it is cultish."

This, to Limbaugh's listeners, is a de-rationalization of liberals. It removes more chances for dialogue because the assumption becomes that any attempts at a dialogue would be unproductive simply because of the sides involved. Furthermore, Rush Limbaugh, with a listener base that is assumed to be in the tens of millions, should be careful of the word 'cult'.

"...half of them wouldn't care about the legalities anyway, they don't even know about em because they haven't been properly educated."

Combined with a tangible anti-intellectualism in some parts of society, this represents Rush's need to appeal to ignorance. The average ditto-head takes this to mean that the liberal rank-and-file are too dumb to know anything, but the academics that the government might turn to on policy decisions are too detached. The message is that you can't trust your mind: You have to trust your gut.

Bottomline is Conservatives have not, and will not for a long time to come, reconcile to the fact that a black man is President. Limbaugh echoes the sentiments of that crowd. They will not relax as long as Obama, or any other black person, is in the White House.

Sadly, as a result, the rest of us, SANE, Americans will have to live with this bull**** from Limbaugh and his listener hoodlums for some time.

Indeed. This election was great from a standpoint of eliminating the insane from power -- but depressing in that it showed how far the country still has to go on race issues.

People on our side were making this same claim about Bush. Also I remember people saying that Bush was going to cancel the election because of the war in 2004 and that he was going to stage another terrorist attack so he could cancel the 2008 elections and stay in office. Of course none of this happened in the first 5 months of his presidency but we have to be honest and admit that our side can be just as nutty at times.

I was going to say the same thing. My only question is, how long did we all wait, and how much did Mr. Bush actually do, before we started saying those things?

Being afraid of Mr. Obama is one thing. But I can't help but feel that Mr. Limbaugh is saying things he thought the very second that Mr. Obama won the election.

Actually, I was so sure Bush would be voted out of office in 2004 that him canceling the election didn't even occur to me. However, as December 2008 drew to a close, I did mention to family and friends that I wouldn't be surprised if Cheney staged something as a pretext to declare martial law and remain in power. I say Cheney because, truthfully, I don't really believe Bush 2 was ever really in charge, any more than he was ever really elected. ;)

I may only be speaking for myself on this issue, but I can honestly say that my attachment to the President is based on the fact that he is a Democrat and I don't mind identifying with a Democrat or(GASP!)a Liberal because, guess what, I have been a liberal all my life. And so what if the party is made up of a large number of minorities? Do minorities have no right to representation? Do minorities become Democrats because the Democrats hear them? I thought that America was supposed to be the melting pot, and that was a good thing. Rush spends this rant projecting his OWN serious shortcomings onto Liberals.
