I bet it really makes Rush furious that the guy who's made a fool out of him numerous times is going to be a US senator.

        Him and Bill-O.

At least as soon as the press starts telling it like it is, or someone puts a bullet in Coleman. If the media doesn't stop enabling his sore-yet-somehow-graceful-lower schtick, I don't see any OTHER way this legel nonsense is going to end. Anyone want to bet that Sotomayor will be a SC jusctics before Franken will be a Senator? (That she'll be ruling on Coleman v. Franken?)

You must have missed the news, Eddie - MN supremes just ruled in favor of Franken. He IS the new senator from MN.

I DID miss the news! Thanks for the update!

But wait... does that mean Coleman's NOT taking to the SCOTUS? Did he finally throw it in? Pawlenty signed & certified and everything?

(And I missed it? When did this happen? I'm on Huffpo / MSN as much as I'm here! How did I miss it?)

Had you been watching tv instead of wasting your time reading, then during the video of Michael Jacksons mailbox and the report of the new Michael Jackson marshmallow nuggets in Lucky Charms, you might have seen the chyron announcing the news that Coleman conceded.

But Limpy, there is NO comparison . . .

      The Iranian recount was only a limited one {10%} . . .

The Minnesota one recounted ALL of them and was MANDATED BY STATE LAW . . .

        Yeah, state law. Whatever.

Right now, we got potential problems for Rush to deal with.

I wonder - has Blimpaugh offered his advice to the American mullahs regarding how soon we release the National Guard to put down the dissenters in the Minneapolis streets? Or whether we should just start arresting all registered Republicans, you know, to avoid the violence? They'll be wanting to get his opinion before all hell breaks loose, I'm sure.

Hey, Rush, how are those sour grapes? BTW, Rush, was the election also stolen from John McCain?

Glad to see Drugbaugh is comparing our Country's election process to Iran's. More proof that teabaggers hate America.

I'm sure the 2.8 million Minnesotans who participated in this democratic election are thrilled to hear you comparing your fellow countrymen to subjects of the Iranian dictatorship.

Using the new "9-Zip" math Rush invented yesterday, he does have a point. The drive by media will call today's MN Supreme Court ruling "unanimous" as it orders that Democrat Al Franken be seated, but the "truth" is that the court sided with Coleman 5-4.

PS: Don't be fooled by Sunday's reports that the Phillies beat the Blue Jays 5-4, they actually won 9-0.

We need to stop watching limbaugh, o'reilly, hanitty, beck & stop sending them hate e-mail. Everytime they get hate mail it shows then we are watching then on tv & that boast their ratings.
Watch then on media matters instead....

I really resent this behemoth comparing our constitutional law to a country that has no law, other than the dictatorial methods. It is to note Iran law is a marriage between church and state, something that is avoided in the US.

Rush is being absurd... as usual.
The final re-count showed a difference of 312 votes out of over 2 million...
I think most people (except sour grape GOP members) will think they are remotely the same.

This is just a bitter pill for him to swallow because of Al Franken's books hit too close to home:
Lies (And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them): A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right
Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot

btw... the State Supreme Court Decision was Unanimous... this meant that all 7 members ruled in favor of Al Franken...

Indeed. And what a difference 13 years makes; Franken is now a US Senator and, as a GOP strategist recently put it, Limbaugh could not get elected dogcatcher.

What a difference, indeed: Franken is now a US Senator, and Limpballs is STILL a big, fat, idiot.

"Just like in our country! Norm Coleman wins in Minnesota, they have a recount, and they keep having recounts, and Al Franken wins!"

      Rush, Rush, Rush.

These two things are not similar; they are contrary. Coleman "won", only for the recount to favor Franken. In the Iranian election, more votes were given to the person already in the lead.

The decision was overturned in Minnesota after the recount. Perhaps you might want to use the Bush/Gore 2000 instance instead for your comparison.

Not to mention that this guy insists that the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Judge Sotomayor is a racist. The only "activist" judge here is Boss Limbaugh. Just making it up as he goes as usual.

The simple fact is that the Republicans only have themselves to blame for this. The fact that a former comedian who has gone out of his way to trash Republicans in every way possible over the years could get elected (and in a reasonably moderate state, at that) really shows how down the American people are on the GOP.

A truly constructive Republican would ask, "How on Earth could we have allowed this to happen? How did we become this bad?"

and they will cone to the conclusion is that they were not righ wing crazy enough.

considering that your top guys are dick cheney, newt gingrich, and rush limbaugh, who constantly spew lies and hate everywhere they go and every time they open their mouths, you can't be surprised to see how far they have fallen. and will continue to fall until they wise up and see things how they really are
