When these chickenhawks claim to support the troops what they really means is that they support using them to prop up failed neo-con policies.

You hit the nail on the head Easy, if this guy really supported our troops he'd insist they were protected.

worrier,if RUSH really believed in the cause of the IRAQ WAR so much, then he should voulenteer his services, in other words, put his body on the line with the rest of our troops instead of being the chickenhawk hippocrite that he is.

This day was all thanks to Bush rush and hindered by democrats questioning a unjustifiable war? Tell that to all the men and women who felt that they were fighting an unjust war but had to do it anyway for fear of imprisonment and plain old self defense. Tell that to all the soldiers who could have been saved if they actually had Adequate Kevlar body Armour instead of sticking random things they could find in the vest as protection. Tell that to all the soldiers who died from faulty wiring in the sinks and showers as they died or were severely injured from electrocution. Tell that to the soldiers who had to serve 3 and 4 or 5 terms in a row way over what is expected of them. Tell that to the soldiers who snapped and killed people from those long terms that they had to serve and find it nearly impossible to integrate back into society. No rush, the thing that is disgraceful is your assumption that the military men and women don't feel and they are robots to be controlled by the government. Each person sets aside their person feeling for the greater good of the country....the sad thing is that if they did what was best for the country....they would have been thrown in jail for desertion. They courageously followed orders hoping that those in power would do the right thing and that demonstrates some of the greatest strength I've ever seen.

And the thing is, and always was, most if not all of our soldiers have gone over there, done the jobs asked of them, and done them well, and brilliantly. It does show that we do have the best military forces in the world, and the most professional. I know tons of soldiers now, and I can tell you that most of them didn't want to go, didn't agree with why they were going, but there was no way that they'd ever try to NOT go. They wanted to be there for their friends, their comrades, and wanted to do what they were trained to do.

This might all sound rah rah USA, but it's true. Our servicemen and servicewoman are top notch. And I think everyone, or a very large majority of folks in our country know this, and recognize this.

Case in point. I was out to lunch with my boss, a MAJ in the Army. We were interrupted 6 times by random people coming up, shaking his hand, saying thanks for his service. That's pretty sweet.

THIS is the tack that concerns me the most - Obama wanting our troops to fail. This is Grade A Right-Wing Extremist Red Meat and it scares the hell out of me. When you hear his tone, there is no doubt that he is doing this on purpose, to get a reaction.

      Entertainer, my ass.

Absolutely, as does Hannity & Beck. They are guilty of treason. It makes my blood boil that they NEVER have to answer for their lies and treasonous behavior. It is so obvious that they are setting our President up for something horrible. They are sneaky and dangerous.

Dadre, You could also add that all that faulty work was done by cronies of Cheney and Bush that were handed those hundreds of millions of dollar contracts that put our military in more danger.

Rush is one of the guys who wanted to get as many Americans killed as possible. Its always party time at Rush's house when Americans are dying. Nothing he loves to see more than dead and maimed Americans

never cared about the Iraqi People
Hey Dumbo, Bush & Cheney did not bomb & send in our troops because they cared about the Iraqi people. Remember it WAS this country they supposedly cared about, & went in to get their WMD (oil). AND YOU KNOW IT! You blustering, lying hypocrite.

Limbaugh and his ilk (Bush & Co. and GOP Congresspersons) rooted for their defeat so we can have an excuse to stay there forever and send more and more troops just to have a war in Iraq, and then he could get a deferral.

Actually I would support such a deferral. I would hate for the troops to have to carry Limbaugh.
