I feel sorry for my grandkids. I grew up hiding under my desk in school in case we were attacked by those damned Russkies.

As scary as nuclear war seemed to us in the fifties and sixties, it can't compare to today's fear of the dreaded ACORN volunteers. Thank God we've got people like this Quinn guy and Glenn Beck to constantly stand guard against these evil doers.

So now ACORN is the catch-all for any election result the right doesn't like?

Yup. A fair election to them is one that has a poll tax and limits the electorate to people who actually own a home. (paying off the banknote doesn't count...)

A "fair election" to the right wing also includes any election --

          - where the voting machines are made by DIEBOLD
          - where the state official in charge of elections is also the state GOP chairman

Well yeah. After all, you have to balance out all the secret liberal organizations committing voter fraud and the left-wing spin of the media SOMEhow!

You forgot "only allowing white Christian males to be allowed to vote."

Oh wait that's the one they don't want advertised.

I think it's funny that these wingies can't understand that all of the registration wrongdoing that was "discovered" about ACORN was turned in by ACORN itself, in accordance with election law!

They fail to notice that part of the whole alleged issue.

I'm also pretty sure that Franken didn't win because of ACORN, but because he got the most votes.

Also that the on election night Coleman was the one saying that Frankin should give up on the recount "for the good of the state" even though the recount was automatic by law. Then when it was discovered that Coleman lost the initial recount he was the one who dragged this on and on and on and on and on....

No, the state of Minnesota was responsible for the recount from initiation to completion. But, shhhhhhhhh, don't let them pesky facts get in the way of a teabagging reich-wing rant.

I think Jim got his talking points mixed up.

He's making this up, if anything the Democrats can complain that he Al Franken was declared the winner on Jan 5, April 13, and now June 30.

That's 3 times the state has declared him a winner.

Jim is messed up... He can't help himself. He surrounds himself with the limp, withered Rose and only gets told nice things from people who agree with him.
He still refuses to have a talk show and actually debate Liberals...why, because he is too dumb.

Maybe Quinn should ask himself how Acorn with all their influence on elections allowed a idiot like Bush to win two controversial elections and run our nation in the ground for eight years.

People like Quinn and Beck are nothing more than white suprememist who try and blame all the problems of the world on a segment of America that makes up only 18 percent of the population.

They only need to remember where the conservative leadership of Bush and Cheney has taken this nation. Most Americans are tired of people like Quinn and Beck getting rich by playing the race card on the taxpayers airwave.

I wonder if people like Quinn and Beck realize they have followers and listeners who will never make it in the new America because of their outdated and non progressive views.

Remember even George Wallace understood he was wrong for his beliefs in segregation and discrimination at the end of his life. If Wallace could change you guys can to.

Quinn and Beck stop the hate. Americans are tired and want to be united.

Aoorn did not still the election in Minnesota. Stop telling your listeners lies.

Coleman took his fight to the Minnesota Supreme court and loss.

That's the problem. They do remember what it was like AND THEY PINE FOR IT! The people who were liked minded to them were the ones who were in charge.

These people HATE the concept of democracy because of the simple fact that it's supposed to be government by the people. They want an aristocracy or feudalism were it's the rich and elite who run everything with their anointed one as the king or figurehead. Where all the benefits are for the ruling class and the rest of us are simply there to make them richer and serve their whims.

Democrats elect representatives and leaders. Republicans select rulers. It's that simple.
