Kilmeade later adds of Franken's victory: "I'm trying to black this out."

Previously:

Fox hosts on Franken victory: "in denial"; Franken and nation crazy; Coleman originally won

Claiming "it hurt" to call Franken "a senator from Minnesota," Kilmeade wonders: "[W]ho's safe now?"

Kilmeade is "in denial" that Franken, who "is barely sane," is now Senator

Is it my imagination, or did Kilmeade just describe Fox News down to the last detail?

More insipid commentary from the right-wing hack Kilmeade. So much for reporting the news of the morning. Kilmeade instead offered up his own partisan hatred for a man who was elected by the voters of MN. He also dissed on the voters of MN too as if his own judgement is somehow better than their's. Guess being fair and balanced is just too much for the juvenile Kilmeade to handle.

Franken drinks your milkshake, Kilmeade. Now go home and cry like the big baby you are while Franken goes to work for the MN citizens in DC.

Maniacal? Evil and bitter? A clown and a goof? Who are they talking about? Themselves? And who are they to chastise the people of Minnesota who voted for Senator Franken? The only evil, hateful, partisan hacks that I see here are these two bozos (my apologies to Bozo, an honest clown.) And where were they to condemn Sonny Bono, Fred Grandy, Clint Eastwood, or Fred Dalton Thompson when they went into politics? Or Ronald Reagan, who was a mediocre B actor who cut his chops on the Republican rubber chicken circut, condemning Medicare as a Socialist threat to America?

Derek Black - the 19-year-old product of the marriage between former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard Don Black and the former wife of white supremacist politician Duke - won his first election.

He's now a Republican Party committeeman. His job is primarily to ensure that voters in District 29, which runs alongside Southern Boulevard east of Dixie, vote Republican.

While this is true, I would like to say that not all Republicans are evil, stupid, or uninformed. There is a legitimate place in American politics for a Conservative point of view, and someone should speak out for smaller government and small business. The Republican Party will start to recover when they remember that! The bigots, religious or not, should not tarnish all Republicans/Conservatives. And one way to distance oneself from that ilk is to stop listening to Faux Noise and Rush.

No, good Ol'Barry G. was never a fan of the Moral Minority. And I don't think he was a racist, either. I think Barry would be just as fed up with the current Republican Party as I am. My husband is a Barry Goldwater type. He joined the Democrat party back when Reagan started kissing up to the Religious Reich.

When I was young Barry Goldwater was a close friend of my family. You did an accurate job of describing him. I know my family thought he was honest and kind. I do remember my Mom saying Barry should retire on several occasions. I was young and do not know why she thought that. Wish she was still alive so I could ask her.

Goldwater wasn't a racist, but his attitude toward the proper use of the power of the Federal Government certainly would have enabled the racists to continue their dominance of state governments, and not just in the South, either.

I appreciate that people admire Goldwater, especially compared to the current crop of Republican officeholders, but let's not romanticize him too much.

These guys spew lies and they are the lying liars.

The recount was automatic based on state laws. The margin of victory was less than 0.5%
The fees are because Al Franken was declared the winner twice and Coleman challenged the results twice.

Al Franken has been declared a winner three times, Jan 5, April 13, and June 30.

At least they aren't saying the election was a fraud, like many of their cohorts are.

The reason ballots were found in a car is because Star Trek transporters haven't been invented yet so that Minnesota can transfer ballots to a place where they can be counted. Until that invention comes along, we have to depend on motor vehicles and transportation infrastructure.

Actually, both pete and you are wrong. Ballots were never found in a car. That was based on a statement from a Coleman attorney who either misunderstood what he was told or lied.

The ballots were properly handled and secured at all times. Procedure was to collect the absentee ballots at the courthouse and deliver them to the proper precincts on election night. When the 32 ballots in question were brought to the precinct after the polls closed the person delivering them found the precinct locked up and everyone gone home. The ballots were then brought back to the courthouse and were properly locked up for the night. They stayed there until precinct officials were contacted and arrangements were made to deliver them and have them counted.

Look it up. Your version simply never happened.

              No they werent.

              http://www.startribune.com/local/minneapolis/34147894.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O:DW3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiUs

The 32 Minneapolis ballots were part of the normal delivery of absentee ballots late in the polling day, according to Election Director Cindy Reichert.

She said they were retained when they couldn't be delivered because some polling places had shut down for the day. She said the ballots were kept sealed until other election duties were completed and were being counted Saturday afternoon, with results to be delivered to the state on Monday.

              http://www.minnpost.com/davidbrauer/2008/11/12/4565/minneapolis_election_director_speaks_ballots_in_my_car_story_false

Reichert is all too happy to provide an explanation. She says the “car ballot” story is “just not true,” painting a picture of normal balloting procedures twisted into something grotesquely misleading.

The “car ballot” story emerged Saturday from the mouth of Coleman lawyer Fritz Knaak, who, according to AP, told reporters, “We were actually told ballots had been riding around in her car for several days, which raised all kinds of integrity questions.”

Knaak never provided a source and did not return two MinnPost calls for comment. However, he was already backing off his story at the same press event. As that day’s Pioneer Press noted, “Knaak said he feels assured that what was going on with the 32 ballots was neither wrong nor unfair.”

Before getting into the details, she makes three fundamental points:

              1. The ballots were never in her car.

              2. The ballots were never in anyone’s car for several days.

              3. The ballots were never lost or forgotten, and spent Election Night until counting day in secure city facilities.

Just keep repeating the discredited Limborg version of this story however. I shows how uninformed you are

Didn't Coleman win on election night ... - fishergirlusmc

No, he didn't. All of the legitimate votes were cast by then. The preliminary count, using less accurate methods, indicated a small lead for Coleman. That was why the recount, using more accurate methods was required.

... then evry vote that was found in the trunks of cars and God knows where else ALL went to Franken Freak? - fishergirlusmc

No, both candidates gained in their ballot counts in the immediate post-election canvassing that takes place after every election. Elsewhere you can see where I show you your error in the car trunk assertion.

Knaak also said a Minneapolis attorney reassured Coleman's campaign that no one but an elected official had access to the 32 ballots and there was no tampering.

          Knaak is Colemans own attorney.

The election night results are not as important as the election laws in the State of Minnesota. The votes tallied on election night did not give a legal win to either candidate. An automatic recount was required under state law.

The recount went all the way to the State Supreme Court. They declared Franken the winner.

I don't remember many on the right complaining when the US Supreme Court decided the presidential election of 2000.

Former, one who officially apologized for being part of that group and officially renounced his association with them. Are you of the opinion that people can't change? And do you not recall that those southern dixicrats bolted en masse when the civil rights bill was passed by Johnson, and they are now republicans?

We have had a few corrupt dems, but when exposed, we have in large part voted em out or demanded they step down (blagovich comes to mind). Today's republican party rarely does that (craig, ensign, to name a few).

As for the rest, you aren't going to hurt my feelings if you direct negative comments at me, but my family is different. Involving anyone's family in an insult is just uncalled for.

Also, let's not forget WHY southerners were democrats to begin with.

And the biggest reason was, wait for it, because Lincoln was a republican, and he freed the slaves, among other things, that they didn't so much agree with.

actually it goes back further....it started with andrew jackson.

and to stretch it even further you can trace their lineage back to Jefferson

Of course you're neither a Democrat or Republican. You just spout all of the same drivel that comes out of RNC headquarters.

You've got a pretty screwed up idea of where we are and how we got here.

      "Hi,

It's official: Al Franken won! He's going to be sworn in next week, and become the 60th vote in the Democratic caucus.

I just signed a card congratulating him on his victory. Want to congratulate him, too?

Kilmeade: "I have no idea about what kind of person he is, but from what I can tell, he's just an evil partisan guy."

Um...if you have no idea what kind of person he is, what RIGHT do you have in judging him?!

You, Brian Kilmeade, are one of the sorest losers I have ever heard. I'd swear that you tried to vote for Coleman yourself!!!

why is it these fox morons with absolutly no academic nor professinal credentials feel somehow qualified to judge someone of frankens character? Since his hilarious tome on limbaugh, another undeducated, multi divorced ,drug addicted numnutz, franken has been brutalized by the double digit iqers in the repub party. lets see, old al has a cum laude degree and a faculty position at harvard, captured five emmys for writing and acting in snl, and one of the co writers of a very inflential film "when a man loves a woman". fairly impressive resume to me. in fact, can the entire conglomeration of fox hosts eve match one of these accomplisments. as to not being funny, sadly it takes an intellect to understand humor and satire a commodity these bozos can only pray they receive , perhaps at christmas.

Mark Levin, on his radio show yesterday, bashed "Hollywood" which "used to support America," but now "just make movies to hurt America." Meanwhile, "I don't go to these movies."

Later, he called Bill Maher an "unfunny hack" who wants to "destroy America." Meanwhile, "I don't watch him. I don't watch his filth."

Right-wingers always know everything there is to know about everything, just BECAUSE. No research necessary. The Earth is 6000 years old, America was founded as a Christian Nation, Hollywood hates America, Bill Maher is hateful, ACORN steals elections. If you don't just accept that, YOU are the ignoramous.
