Violent? I missed the part about the Honduran coup being overly violent. How many people were killed or injured in the coup? Were people killed in the streets and arrested and shot? Sorry I was thinking about Iran again.

Funny that the Supreme Court and Congress of Honduras ordered the coup in the first place but our President does not want to admit that. Seems to me that this would be an internal matter for Honduras... Oh wait I forgot this is not Iran.... I guess if Zelaya was allowed to take over the country then any uprising from the people or elected goverment would be something that we should not interfere with.

So why does it seem that Obama has more support for wannabe dictators in foreign countries then the people who are oppressed by them?

So essentially what Harley said is right. You advocate for the overthrow of a democratically elected official?

The coup indeed, was not violent, if you disregard someone coming into the President's house in the middle of the night, throwing a bag over his head, and taking him prisoner while threatening to shoot him, and his family.

The guy on Honduras was not a dictator. Obama has no love for dictators, just like every normal sane person in the world. He also has great empathy for oppressed people in other countries, such as Iran, since you kept bringing up that example, as if it meant anything.

If Obama had done what I think you wanted him to do with Iran, namely, get all puffed out chest about it, then I'm pretty sure a lot more people would have gotten killed. Are you someone who also probably used to advocate for the bombing of Iran since they might be developing a nuclear weapon? I'm pretty sure you had no love for the oppressed people of Iran then.

Well, at least he's being clear: "let's restore the non-democratically elected government of 2000-2008 with an illegal power-grab and then proceed to disregard the best interests of the population at large while enriching ourselves." Those with Team-Limbaugh never had any illusions...

Jeeze Rush you already get paid millions to do nothing what else do you want? You don't even have to make sense. If you had to get a real job you would be on a street corner looking for hand outs.
You should count your blessing and be glad that being delusional pays in your conservative fantasy world.

Honduras, a current name to conjure with. An imaginary place that gives wingnuts a warm fuzzy right now. A little neoCon help and it could be the future site of Radio Free North America.
As with so many likeminded dreams reality keeps being such a killjoy obstructionist thing.

WTF...This type of rhetoric is in clear violation of freedom of speech. Yes, you can voice your opinion about the Government and about elected Government officials but to slightly suggest we should have a coup to overthrow elected officials just because your party lost is CRAZY. The Neo-Cons always say that Democrats hate America, when in fact, they hate American who are not white, who are poor and who do not share their views. They want the American who are not white, who are poor and do not share their views to be relagate to second class citizen status; no rights, no voice and no say so about how they think America to be.
