If the Democrats had a spine, they'd open investigations into all the Contractors who've been milking the Treasury in Iraq.

Neither -- it's the Soviet Union.

Lt. Gen. McInerney: "Absolutely. The only airplane that will actually survive the future Soviet missiles -- uh, Russian missiles...."

I guess it takes a few decades to realize that you can't justify outrageous expenses on military hardware of dubious value by just pointing to the Soviet Union like you did in the good old days.

          Picked that up myself.

This is the same salesman that pushed the fighter a few months ago on the same network.

          Also, softballs aplenty.

Health care? We don’t need no stinkin’ health care! We have F-22s with a skin disease.

What's funny is that all these self-styled "libertarians" who don't think they should help pay for somebody else's $1200 colonoscopy are all too happy to help pay for a $300,000,000 plane that doesn't work.

I read an article a while back that said this plane was great on the drawing board, but, as the FOX guy points out, it's plagued with problems. The article said that it was so sensitive to electronic interference that it could not operate in a real battle zone.

But, hey... if it's only $150,000,000 a copy.... what a deal!

Is this the same nimrod that said the F-22 is the perfect jet to hunt down pirates?

Why is it always so easy to make the Monty Python references with these guys?

A hard picture to interpet. What is behind that staging? Looks like an old building? If I look at it crosseyed it could be a carrier conning tower.

I appreciate that the world is still not ready to take lighter than air flight with any seriouness.

Haha I love that it is 2009 and we are still using the whole "we have to fight the Soviets" thing as an argument, and people still buy it.
