Lets just keep moving the argument and throwing up strawmen. Varney is BillO with an accent.

Varney is absolutely right - the Pope will have NOTHING to do with coercion.

Now, you better take that back right now and say 5 'Hail Marys', or else God will smite you and you'll end up burning in the fires of Hell.

Of COURSE the Catholic Church has never tried coercion:
          Mel Brooks

Also, try to look up Mark 20..... with only 16 books... he's referring to Matthew 20, and the story is quite twisted accoring to Varney (know what I mean, Earl?). Read it yourself.

            Apparently, Matthew was pro-union. Regardez:
"...the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward"
            Shop steward = union

Nah, it's more a case of faux not wanting to be associated with the facts.

"I know what I’m talking about."

If you have to say that repeatedly, you probably don't.

Varney is just an old retread that couldn't cut it at CNN.

I find it is the same with people that repeatedly say they are Christians, they usually are not or are clueless to what a christian is.

FoxNews Channel has become a walking, talking "tabloid" cable station cloaked in "false", "made-up", "republican talking points" as their news stories. Just shameful, shameful, shameful.

Enjoyed "tremendously" how Mr. Stewart Acuff, Director of Organizing for AFL-CIO stood firm with his facts, and made this guy backed down with that made-up, mumbo jumbo, Repulican talking points non-sense. Thanks Media Matters for catching this, great interview.

I never understood how Conservatives align themselves with Jesus Christ. Jesus said that "the meek shall inherit the earth" and the right wing are not the meek... in fact, I think if Jesus was around today he'd smite all these Neocons.

"Acuff; As is 'Whatever you have done unto the least of these you have done also unto me' which is what Jesus said in Matthew 25.

Varney; I think that was referring to something different there from unionization if I'm not mistaken.

      Acuff; ......What?"

      Should've been "lolwut?"

The Pope came out in favor of employees having the right to organize. That doesn't necessarily mean he's in favor of the employee free choice act but only Fox could see it as a clear sign he's not in favor of it.

I grew up in a Union household. I have joined Unions in the past, and will do so in the future. They serve an important function. I live in an area that is not pro-Union and it is harder on worker rights when that is the case. I am quite sure, if he knew the circumstances, the Pope would favor the card check approach, because if favors the Union, and no, I don't think it is coercion. I think non-union shops are coersive.

Alright Stewart, show em whos boss. Nothing like Fox's reputation for fair and balanced reporting (i.e. shouting over your guest and barely letting them get a word in edgewise). But ya, I have been waiting for someone to finally start quoting the bible right back at some of those self-righteous fundamentalist christians.
