hmm. Time to ask precisely what their definition of capitalism is. I suspect it's close to the Coe doctrine: power to the powerful, invert Christian emphasis on care for the poor, etc. (See "C" Street, D.C.) The capitalism of the last thirty years is booty capitalism -it lacks the requisite need for restraint the great capitalists like John D Rockefeller practiced. So it's capitalism as every man for himself.

His onscreen I.D. went by so fast, maybe he was embarrssed, too. I had to pause and replay more than once to catch the name of, it turns out to be ... Forbes publisher himself, Rich Karlsgaard. He is the one who makes the claim that the president and the pope are doing "everything" Hayek warned us against in The Road to Serfdom.

Everything? Really? Now that is one hell of a claim. And it is completely verifiable, or not.

(Or maybe we should just trust him based on his amazingly life-like hair?)

Well Jesus was more of a ristricted capitalist or partial socialist if the right does not believe this they should read the bible very carefully and it says part of the responsability of the comunity (government) is to take care of the underpriveliged.

What this means is that the right does not understand the Bible. The right only takes what fits their world view from the Bible. One of the things that the Bible is most against is greed. Greed is what is needed for pure Capitalism. Therefore pur Capitalism is sinful, wrong, and evil.

A regulated form of capitalism is needed as well as certain areas being socialized. These include public safety, health care, comerace, postal system, ect.

It's the "Hate Obama Network", unfair and unbalanced. There is nothing this president can do other than fail, that would make them agree with him on anything.

Did FOX post those pictures of the Pope with Bill Ayers...that I'm sure must exist? And the Pope is what...European, right? There goes Obama trying to appease those Europeans again. Maybe Obama was negotiating with the Pope for a Vatican takeover of Fiat.

          I can hear Hannity now....

"The Pope is nothing but a community organizer who pals around with terrorists. He meets with Ayres, this Socialist President and world leaders of other countries who are not Great Americans. And, next time you are in Rome, ask this Pope why he hates our troops? Did you ever see him at my sham concerts? Wasn't he in charge of the official Religion in nazi Germany? Was he good friends of the Hilters'? He probably doesn't like anything Conservative? Ask him these questions when you see him."

The capitalism these people are talking about is the Bush 43 version, deregulated and CEO's spending zillions of dollars on themselves and company jets from france. All under the unbrella " it is your money "
