Oh, puhleeeeeasssse ... So now Fox News blames their own lack of integrity and research on their own SOURCES??

Perhaps if they were to stop using Drudge Report as a reliable source then they would not have these issues.

      Idiots.

        I second that mk3872,

I seriously doubt that this will stop Fox-Noise from using the Drudge Report in the future.

When your sources are Drudge and Newsbusters, you're not looking for the truth.

What issues? They'll just pretend that they never ran with the false story. No more issue.

naturally the Drudge Report couldn't resist giving the picture a lot of play

How shameless can Fox get? No one gave it more play then they did. Why are they so terrified of ever admitting when they were wrong? They certainly play their audience for being idiots. Granted the majority are but how can Fox be stupid enough to think they fooled the rest of the world. They would look smarter and more respectful if they just said oops. They just keep digging.

And even after it was completely debunked, Insane Vannity was still insisting that the photo proved that Obama was looking at that girl's rear. Talk about not having a grasp on reality.

And by giving this disclaimer against Drudge they get to show the picture again. Win-win, Fox style.

Well, after this pathetically excessive coverage of a non-story based on a lie, it's safe to say they MSM is anything BUT liberal in nature.

Is anyone else having problems navigating MMfA? Ever since last night, both computers that I use to access this site have been very sluggish, but only with MMfA. It's almost as if a DDoS attack is taking place against them.

I was having the same problem earlier. Not so much now, but earlier it was acting real fruity (that's a technical term).

I had problems posting, with no reaction from the REPLY 'button', so I reloaded the page, and it worked.
              Other than that, no problems.

Hmmm, wonder if Chris Wallace will apologize this Sunday morning on his show for his co-workers i.e. Sean Hannity, Gretchen, etc. at FoxNews Channel for their "leading" statements of what they "ALL" felt that Pres. Obama was doing in the photo produced by Drudge? Just shameful, shameful, shameful in how FoxNews Channel's people keeps digging to "smear" President Obama the American President. Hmmm.

I'm sure it stings them that various Fox shows have backed off from this story, but they all seem to be taking some consolation that at least it's a good excuse to slime the French.

MSNBC and Good Morning America pointed to this fact on Friday (July 10, 2009), and a day later FoxNews Channel decides to join in with the "truth" about Drudge's (and FoxNews Channel's) photo too.

Maybe when FoxNews Channel polled their Viewers they discovered that FoxNews Channel's nasty explanation of the photo was "NOT" taken in too well by it's Viewers. Uh, oh. Now, FoxNews Channel "MUST" back-peddle away from Hannity's and Carlson's nasty statements about Pres. Obama (our American President) and this photo. LOL. Just shameful, shameful, shameful.

To be fair, didn't Greta dispel the truth first?

No, she just directed people to her blog so that they could rip on Obama, regardless of whether the photo was true or not.

It is possible Roger Ailes finally woke up from his decade long coma and had a staff meeting with his guys. Or some of the current FOX employes are catching on that FOX could be the end of their professional lives..

Ailes has been so far disconnected from reality that if he were to WAKE UP, he would still be at the comatose stage.
When he hears the sounds of dollars being pulled from his accounts, only then is there hope to revive him to a sleep stage.

Don't fall for this faux attempt at moderation. They are liars one and all. If no one's noticed, progressives have basically boycotted Fox, with only a handful of exceptions.

With the GOP basically imploding and progressives, LIBERALS, and Democrats in total control they are increasingly irrelevant. They need guests in power and they can't get any.

Note to Dems and progressives: IF you MUST appear on this Faux news outlet, treat them with the same disdain and contempt that they will surely treat you with.

Fox "News Watch" started circling the drain a year ago when the network fired Eric Burns and replaced him with one of their talking Ken dolls (as if this guy is going to criticize the company that signs his paycheck).

Now, it's just filler between commercials for upside-down tomato plants and antacids.

Which is a complete circle, because it's probably eating the upside-down tomatoes that's giving people the acid stomach in the first place.
