It would have been nice to see more than 45 seconds dedicated to this by Howie. He could have at least played Hannity on his radio show THU telling his audience "you have to go to DrudgeReport.com and see this picture of Obama. Somewhere Bill Clinton is smiling." That could have made the segment 1:15.

Why of course. Now it makes sense that Hannity is hammering the photo and that is to take attention away from the real issue and that is two republicans in a sex scandal of biblical proportions ( By the governor himself )

      Am I missing something?

If the photo was taken from the video and not photoshopped, why does the Kurtz not show the moment in the video from which the frame is taken?

The video starts with the black woman already almost at the President's side, and Obama and Sarkozy in a crowd.

The frame that Drudge and freepers presented was a wider shot, the woman that the President helps down the steps is well behind them and Obama and Sarkozy have much more free space around them.

So has the frame been altered, or did it not come fromthe video feed, or did Kurtz not play the video early enough?

No, the photo was not taken from the video.

NO. Watch it again. The woman Obama helped was still a step up and back.

The frame that Drudge and freepers presented was a wider shot,
        Correct.

        No.

The photo is clearly from the video. It's just cropped and blown up.

No. The video was shot from a slightly different angle (to the left) and is zoomed in.

Photo appears to be credited to Reuters.

Most of the video appears to be from ABC.

Take if from someone who used to work in photography (amatuer)
perspective makes a lot of difference in photos, as does angle, type of lens (telephoto, wide angle), focus depth, etc.

I think the video pretty much shows he wasn't checking out the young lady. I don't even think it convicts Sarkozy of anything. He may have been checking out some hot babe that was out of frame. ;-)

Thanks to the DC Villagers treating Matt Drudge like a real trusted news source, our MSM spends time, energy and cycles on this type of banality.

Step aside and make room for new media and online news. This kind of baloney is a complete waste.
