See, I never get why right-wingers spend all their time talking about how people like David Duke are (choose one) victims of political correctness/unfairly smeared by Teh EmmEssEmm, and then think the most erudite way to insult a minority is by comparing them to him. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say when Limbaugh/Buchanan/Beck's listeners hear "OMG U GUYZ SHE'S THE LATINA DAVID DUKE!!!!!", the "David Duke" isn't the part of the description that scares them.

This is Al Frankens fault obviously. If he hadn't come along and brought down the level of serious discourse in the Senate then Leahy wouldn't be forced to sight Rush Limbaugh's imflamatory comments in a confirmation hearing. Damn that Franken!

I like the dig about the leader of the Republican Party..could that have been directed to Mr. Limbaugh? How dare the Senators not walk out of the hearing in support of the Leader of the Republicans.

Why would a Senator on the Judiciary committee, during a confirmation process, cite a political pundit, especially Rush Limbaugh, during the questioning process? Rush Limbaugh's job is to create controversy, not set presidence. In my opinion, Sen. Leahy corrupted the process in favor of tabloid cynacism.

I gotta admit, Sen. Franken has shown class in this whole process( his Senate election) and I think everyone is waiting for him to "slip up" and revert to his previous calling. He shoulda just got it outa the way early.

And why should he pander to the lowest common denominator by "slipping up?"
