It's a pretty important commitee so you might reasonably say that but what about the Dems?

ATTACK DOGS, now there is a fair and balanced idea.
They have time to mention all Republican Senators, there are only 40 of them.

You mean, second string all stars, being that they're the minority party and all, and their presence is really a mere formality.

They may have only 40 Senators...

But to the media it seems closer to 70. The corporate media is in a perpetual state of disbelief.

"This can't be happening. Our owners are not going to approve of this!!"

      Too rich.

Caught Lawrence O'Donnell on Countdown last night. He was aide to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, when Moynihan was Chair of the Committee, and Sessions flamed out in pursuit of a judgeship. O'Donnell said our Southern fried friend was the "weakest" candidate to appear before the committee in his time.

That counts as a GOP All Star?

      It figures.

I've got to hand it to Sotomayor for keeping her "temperament" from "flaring up" during questioning. How someone remains calm and collected during asinine questioning (seriously? Defining labels of Constitution interpretation?) and being constantly interrupted and patronized is impressive to me. I'm not surprised, of course... just infuriated and supremely annoyed by how these "all-stars" are behaving. So much for "Southern charm" and professionalism.

When you are a partisan hack like CC, of course Kyl, Hatch, Coburn, Sessions and Graham are "all stars". I am sure Carl likes the scent of their crotches as well.
