I thought Senator Graham was very condescending in his comments. One wonders what he thinks of Justice Scalia's temperament at oral argument? Commentator Roger Cohen has suggested that Rush Limbaugh's scathing criticism of Graham's opening questions yesterday led him to attack Sotomayor aggressively this afternoon. Testosterone wars? I agree with Toobin's comment.

I tend to like Sen Graham as " Honest" or at least " No beating around the bush" but he came across in his questioning as the one with a "Temperment Problem" and " The Bully " . After his opening comments Monday I mistakenly got the impression that the Good Sen was going to be the Ault in the room with regard to the Republicans.....but I ws wrong.....seems to be happening alot lately for me.

Why doesn't Toobin have his own show? He would be killing it right now with all the Jackson stuff and now the Supreme Court hearings. The guy is the f-ing franchise and CNN acts like John King and Anderson Cooper are the future. Pay him what he needs to leave the law obligations in the rear view and get Dobbs off the 7-8 EST slot. The guy is truly smart and does not treat the audience like a bunch of idiots. Am I wrong here?

I agree... especially about getting Dobbs of the air... or move him to Fox News.

Of course not; you're right. And that's why Toobin'll never have his own show. I hope I'm wrong, as I was about Rachel Maddow. When she called Tweety out as New Hampshire's Primary numbers came in, I was sure she was toast at MSNBC. And CNN gave Fareed Zacaria a show, so you have to admit they don't consistently celebrate ignorance.

If any one listened to today's hearing on Judge Sotomayor, they can see that many of the questioners were anything but fair and balanced. Unlike the claim Fox makes, the Judge handled her interview with great calm and dignity. She will make a great Supreme Court judge and will bring her incredible mind and knowledge of the law to the court in order to equalize some of the bias against little people that exists there now. In fact, I think that is exactly why so many Republicans are so miffed at her appointment. However, be that as it may, she will be confirmed. Another terrible loss for Republicans after letting the whole world know that their party is full of a bunch of dedicated racists. Poor things.
