O'Reilly was bored by the hearing's lack of a gay penguins segment.

I think O'Reilly may simply be disappointed that Sotomayor didn't request a refill of her beverage with the words, "M.F.-er, I want more iced tea!"

I think he's disappointed that she hasn't exploded, or at least shown some impatience, with the Republicans' ignoring her entire body of work behind the bench, some 3000 cases (excuse me, they do talk about Ricci), in favor of pounding away at the "wise Latina." I don't know how she does it. I'd have blown a gasket by now. But she's been brilliant at talking to the Republicans as one would to a slow learner (which they've sure shown themselves to be) while showing a respect which (projecting now) must be feigned.

Well, Bill, Judge Sotomayor is not an "entertainer" and is not being interviewed for your viewing enjoyment.

What's your excuse for boring the country to tears?

Hey I find Billo's history lessons very entertaining. LOL

Haven't heard him get one right yet. One would think he would be ashamed to admit he was a history teacher. Imagine the debates with his students that knew more than he did, Bill refusing to admit it, screaming at them and giving them a failing grade.

O'Racist, you're responsible for creating and support terrorists, that's hardly in the same league as "boring America". Get a life, loser.

Well, Bill, you could have called your body language expert to help analyze Sotomayor's testimony. That would have provided you with some entertainment. Or you could have just hit on one of your female producers if you were that bored...

Again with the "boring" idiocy. Is she supposed to tap-dance or something? I expect if she went out of her way to be entertaining that she would be accused of making a mockery out of the proceedings, lacking gravitas, trying to ingratiate herself, whatever else.

I think she's a little heavy, too. And she's not adorable like Sarah is. And she doesn't hsve a special needs kid to hold in her lap during the hearings. Maybe she should try winking at the camera. And do something with her hair... <sarcasm>

Boring? That's the same thing he said about Obama's first press conference, at the 100 day mark.

These people are not there to AMUSE YOU, BillO! They are there to answer questions in a concise and informative way, not to entertain you...

I'm guessing he was hoping (in the earlier case) for a repeat of Bush's kibbitzing with the press, calling them by the nicknames he's assigned them, giggling about people dying, etc - maybe a male prostitute planted in the press room to pitch him softballs...

        ..

Give poor Billdo a break. After all, he works for the propotainment network. If he didn't have problems with substance (not substances; that's Rush) before he started at Murdoch Manor, he does now. The same affliction Ailes all the Fuxes.

Looks like Low'Reilley has never seen CSPAN before. No 3D flag spangled graphics to hypnotize Low'Reilly. Now trumpety symphonic inspirational music to get Low'Reilly ready for the show. WHAT? And NO CHRYONS UPDATING US ON OBAMA'S SOCIALIST AGENDA?? How is Low'Reilley and his fans excited and fearful.

Don't forget this isn't the first time that right-wing professional liars and the media in general have been bored by today's politics...

Rove: "The news conference was boring," "it was flat, it was dull"

Rollins on Obama press conference: "It gets a little boring"

Ever more journalists bored while covering Obama

Media find Obama news conference insufficiently entertaining

The media's new meme: Obama is too boring

oreilly finds anything that doesnt involved screaming, yelling and interrupting people boring. if there isnt some big controversy or altercation going on, he gets bored to tears. why else would he be so incredibly obsessed with high ratings? its what he does, and he needs to be a crazy nut to get his audience to watch. ideally, if he doesnt see the same performance from other people on tv and in the public eye, he has to criticize and order these people to be an a-hole like him. this shows he will do anything for those ratings and watch anything that follows the same status quo, and ignore things that dont.

unfortunately, i just now (finally) managed to put that explanation together and understand this man's ridiculous train of thought.

        I think BillO's running scared.

"its what he does, and he needs to be a crazy nut to get his audience to watch."

But Beck is beating him at his own game - and Beck adds that evil Robin Williams manic delivery, too. Hard for Orally to compete, so he's gotta bring the crazy (and the LOUD) much more often!

        ;o)

To O'Reilly yelling, swearing, calling out names during political hearings is interesting to him, not the usual "boring" politics you see in C-SPAN, too much talking not enough yelling.

No offense, but law can be very boring. Believe it or not, real courtroom "drama" is NOTHING like Law and Order. Been involved in the law for almost 30 years . . . you either love it and find it interesting or you don't. I didn't find the hearings boring, I found it disgusting. These people don't give a rip about this woman's impeccable qualifications, they care only about looking good to their "base."
