Well, once again Stewart lays it all out there for the world to see in the most biting of language, but truthful, none the less.

Hey, Solon! Stewart didn't use the D-word this time. Was he funny?

      I say yes.

isnt it obvious....he is being sarcastic, even though he does a better job than any pundit of laying bare the truth.

It's Jon, not John. It's right there in the story.

The Republicans are just embarrassing themselves. Sessions is an absolute moron. So much for the notion that the Senate is some kind of "elite" club. You just have to be rich, not necessarily smart.

I have never seen a more jealous man than Sessions was in his "questioning" of Sotomayor.

Keith Olbermann had it right when he mentioned her "Marshall McLuhan moment." Sessions tried to quote another judge he said was being critical of her, and she said, "He's here today." I'm surprised Sessions' Depends didn't start filling up at that moment.

"She," actually- Cedarbaum's a woman. But you're right, that was hilarious.

You're right. She mentioned her by title, "Judge Cedarbaum," so it was sexist of me to assume the judge was male. Mea culpa.

John Stewart and the writers who work on the Daily Show manage to cover more news more accurately in half an hour than Fox does all day. How long will it be until Rupert Murdoch tries to purchase Comedy Central?
