Why do you hate capitalism, sir? Why do you hate America?
US Stocks Rally, Dow Jumps as Stu Varney "try[s] to restrain [his] outrage"
Oh my. First of all, what does this Fox anchor from Britain know about how the Reagan revolution affected middle America? It was during Reagan's administration that I was homeless for the first time. His policies were very pleasant and helpful if you were in the top 5% economically. Reagan made more millionaires than any president before him. He also made more homeless people than any president before him, because there is a cost to making all the wealth run uphill that way. I for one will be ecstatic to do away with Laffer economic theory and the Reagan 'revolution'. As for pointing to France as an example, you have to wonder if Thompson was enjoying some 'freedom fries' while extolling the virtues of French economic policy.
. . . and you're faling miserably, Stu.
Restraining your INTELLIGENCE, on the other hand, you're quite adept at . . .
{And BTW, it seems Fred "Sleepy" Thompson has come down in the world considerably . . . He's gone from being a US Senator/movie star to finishing behind Mitt Romney in the GOP presidential race and a hack radio talking head . . . not even Dick Wolf wants him around anymore. Sad.}
Fred Thompson, falling so hard.
Reagan made prosperity? I never received any prosperity.
I'm so far down the poverty hole that I wouldn't know this "prosperity" he speaks of.
Give English people a bad name, Varney does.
(apologies to the late Jim Varney)
Know what I mean, Vern?
