Straight Forward??? Like when I have a cold and go to the doctor. And they ask me a bunch of questions. Then they call my insurance company and make sure what they are about to do is covered by my policy. And IF it is then I get it. But if it isn't the door is straight down the hall

Candyland-- that's it. I was trying to figure out what it looked like. Or maybe 'Chutes and Ladders' after they got through with it?

And here I thought it was risk. Just hole up in australia and put all your forces in indonesia. Wait for everyone else to duke it out and then fight your way through siam.

Risk? For Hannitard? I hardly think so.

No, Candyland is plenty challenging enough. His staff can only do so much to prepare him.

The Baby Bird Game was probably too difficult for young Hanniteabagger. Rolling a colored die to get out of the nest was too scary... fast forward 40 years, Beck talking crazy about nuts and trees and everyone on Fox screaming about big bad predators invading their trees... when they own the whole freaking forest.

In it's current state, it's more like "Monopoly."

Does anyone feel dumber for having watched this? Regardless, I take comfort in knowing that I couldn't possibly be any dumber than Griff Jenkins and all the other shrills over at Faux.

Fox is brilliant at what they do.

        1. Play to the lowest base.
        2. Display Griff as a nerd.
        3. Make the low brow feel smarter than Griff
        4. Now they feel smarter, they think there more informed, and will not support this "dumb" health care plan.

        Geniuses... Pure Evil Geniuses!

The presentation, as a whole, was probably the most inane attempt at Daily Show -esque humor I've seen on tv this year.

Ever wonder how the writers of the 1/2 Hour News Hour maintained a household income after the show tanked? Well apparently their kids now work for Hanniturd.

I can just imagine what your posts would be like if they were intelligent or well thought out.

So far, that's all imaginary. Too bad your thinking processes chose death rather than liberty.

        LD

Boehner, Hannity and you try so much to scare everyone as to what will be and don't look at what is. The Ghost of Health Care Present is much scarier than the Ghost of Health Care yet to come. Look at Jon Cohn's (From The New Republic) Chart of what already exists!

LD, remember that our Founding Fathers stated in the Declaration of Independance that we are endowed by [our] Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Happiness can not be pursued without liberty, nor liberty without life. For those without health care, the question of reform may very well be determine life or death. Does that make Health Care an "Unalienable Rights"? LD, I think that our Founding Fathers would have thought that it is a Right.

Chris Rock had a very interesting health care plan when he was a kid and he discribed in a stand up.

It was even simpler than a straight line too. It was a bottle of Robitussin. If ya ran out, add some water into the bottle, "shake it up. MORE TUSSIN."

Amounts to the proposed GOP health care plan of 15% of America, the status quo.

Fox,conservative talk radio, and the republicans always throw the bogie man rationed care, the European, and Canadian system.Rationed health care is real to many people in America today.Who do you want to ration your heathcare? An insurance company employee whose bonus is tied to how little money they spend on you or a government employee. The government already does a better job of healthcare cost.Medicaid and medicare pays less for proceedures than private insurance companies that are already backed up by the government in many ways. The one thing doctors and hospitals do more of with medicare and medicaid than with private insurance companies is STEAL.This is something than will have to be addressed early what ever solution results.

Like my grandpa said: If you can't dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with bullspit.

Under the current 'health care' plan as experienced by most Americans:

      1) Pay your premiums

      2) Go to the hospital
      a) Get denied by your insurance company (You gave the money to us and we want to keep it!)
      b) Get treated, change jobs, and be denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition

      3) Next hospital visit prepare to declare bankruptcy due to insurmountable medical bills

Now, that -is- a simpler plan, but it's hardly health 'care'.
