We all have Dana Millbank to thank for this sort of dive into the depths of meaningless political discourse ...

LOL... I KNEW IT! Billy's body language expert analyzing Sotomayor's blink rate... Bill O'Reilly's show is like a cartoon. Southpark...! This has to be satire. Come on...really. I have decided to point and laugh at the next person I meet who professes to regularly watch Bill O'Reilly.

O'Really - "She has some fluttering, and that's what I want to know about."
Reiman - "If you baseline her, uh, over a period of months, you'll realize that's something she does all the time."

      FOUL BALL! STRIKE ONE!

O'Really - "She is conciously trying to play it down?"
Reiman - "I think she was really trying to control how she came across."

      STEEEEEERIKE TWO!

O'Really - "She looked to be a little hunched over to me. Ummm.. Does that indicate anything at all?"
Reiman - "No because again, I think that she typically sits like that..."

STEEEEEERIKE THREE! YERRRRRR OUTTA YER LEAGUE!!!

This sort of refutes the left's argument that wingnuts are anti-science.

After all, you don't get much more sciencey than body language experts. Unless you've got an eye blinking counter too.

Police use it when they pull you over at night to see if you are abusing substances. So don't look at the light or you will blink your eyes which everyone knows means your guilty. Whatever. They refute global warming, but whoa, that blink rate will nail us all.

C'mon, what's most important is that BillO realized that his FauxNews audience wasn't going to tune in for more video of an old lady.

Instead BillO's producer found a hot blonde with a nice bod, put her in a tight top and framed her just below the sternum to demonstrate her competence to opine on a potential Supreme Court Justice.

Smart TV! Great for ratings. FauxNews viewers had no idea what she was talking about, which is just fine, as they didn't have to watch the old lady.

Now what were we talking about?

      <sarcasm>

I've finally got around to reading Al Franken's book on right wing liars and looking at the insane Billy clip it's clear that not much has changed in the years since the book was published. These guys are one trick ponies playing to an audience that is slowly dying off one viewer at a time.

Actually, one thing did change since the book first came out---Al Franken is a senator and Billy still isn't.

It is the right's return to Kremlinology only with less science because they are not a factually based belief system.

I knew this woman was a phony years ago when she analyzed G.W. Bush as having a "commanding presence".

Look it up! Definitely a signal of a person who is lying.

      from: http://www.toastmastery.com/category/communication/body-language/

"Eye – when lying, people often avoid eye contact. Also, some will exhibit eye twitching or rapid blinking of the eyes. Some people tend to look up to the left when thinking of a lie. See the relationship between eye movement and lying.

I saw one clip where it looked like she was having a "spaz attack" blinking uncontrollably while lying about some answer.
Another where her hair was hanging in her eye and she was blinking uncontrollably.

She is either lying or has some serious nervous system disorder, either should disqualify her.
